I got to thinking about all of these people constantly posting old friggin information every day, and sometimes hourly...

And I do realize it is due to the Epassporte Message System...

I thought it was funny that since the shit hit the fan, epassporte's message system only sends an email once you log in...
IT DID NOT WORK THAT WAY BEFORE THIS SITUATION HAPPENED.

(It's annoying because we constantly have people posting "breaking news" that is days, weeks or a month old).

But it got me thinking.. Is this strategic? Because a mass email to all epassporte account holders would make EVERYONE aware of the problem.. THIS WAS DONE INTENTIONALLY, the message system did not work this way before.. I always got email notifications from epass prior to this, not only about payments received, but also from epass itself about the dumbassed middle men movie and my card renewal fee (and the renewal fee message was right before the shit hit the fan). But then TADA! no more message notifications emailed until you log in!

I wonder about the thousands of epassporte users that only use their accounts on rare occasions, or those with low balances that are old that may have even forgotten they had a balance..

I could not even begin to guess how much money this would involve, but I am certain it is astronomical....

What would be the reason to not notify those account holders? hmmmm.. I wonder?....

Sorry mate, it was happening like that long time ago, I remember sometimes I was waiting for sponsor payments and no epass notification on my email, I logged in and there it was my monies and one message on epass message center, then I logged out and there was a notification o my email account.
Ok it was fucking annoying and useless but it didn't started 30 days ago, it was happening to me all the time.

Me too! It started about 3 monhs ago to "do not send" all payments notifications! Anyway, what Naughty-Pages said is true! Some months ago I didnt need to login to get notifications (Middle Men movie, Securiy Updates, Renewal Info.. etc).
Now, people only get the notifications after login... of course its intentionally!

I should have gotten out when he first announced his movie. That was quite unprofessional.
And I should definitely gotten out when I heard that the movie was a flop!

Well it did not start doing it that way for me until right before the shit hit the fan... When people would pay me while chatting on ICQ, I would check my email to see if they sent it, then go in and verify the amount afterward..

I got notified instantly numerous times a week right up to the end of August, then after that it stopped..

Payment notices were definitely sent instantly.

However, if there were internal messages from epassporte relating to other matters, those were only emailed to you once you logged in. It was like that for quite a while.

well.. I got the internal notification for the movie without logging in, and I also got the internal notice for my Card Renewal Fee without logging in.
