A question for Paxum and CashX

Paxum said that in order to support international customers, they had to have their MC issued by a bank in Belize... CashX has their MC issued by a bank in California... So does that mean CashX doesn't really support international customers? Or is it because the Paxum card is a "real" prepaid MC and the CashX one is just a "travel" one?

I have virtual visa from etrade, and i can have millions on them and withdraw unlimited money from it as well,so these claims doesn't sound correct.

True.. But since you can only have 2500 on the CashX MC it's not that big a deal.. The wallet is more important and I haven't found any info as yet as to where CashX holds that money.

I think Paxum holds the wallet money in the Bank of Montreal which is also insured.

However, I don't think that really matters... The insurance is just meant to protect the account holders if the bank goes under... Wouldn't help if the company goes under I don't think.

It doesn't say on card with which bank it issue ,and i know usa citizen can open bank account online on etrade. But i do remember their wire details are for Bank of New York,so it is either issued directly by them or Bank of New York.

Actually there is a daily limit, but i am sure you can keep unlimited money on that account. The only problem is if you make money by buying/selling stock, you need to pay tax to usa and it cannot be avoided(that is probably why there is no limit)

And here is copy paste about debit card:
1 Individual, joint and custodial accounts are eligible for the E*TRADE Complete? Debit Card. In addition, certain IRA accounts are eligible if you are over age 59 1/2. Not eligible are IRA accounts under age 59½, other retirement accounts, business or investment club accounts. We will send your debit card to your address of record within five to seven business days.

2 E*TRADE will not charge you a fee for withdrawing funds from another institution's ATM nationwide but the owner/operator of the ATM might. In those cases, E*TRADE will automatically refund your account for the amount of the fee by the following business day. Qualified customers with $50,000 or more in combined E*TRADE Securities and E*TRADE Bank accounts or who make 10 or more stock or options trades per month (average 30 per quarter) get unlimited ATM fee refunds. Other customers get up to five ATM fee refunds per month.

3 You can withdraw up to $1,000/day or the amount of the available cash balance in your account, whichever is lower.

4 Debit card purchases cannot exceed $2,500/day or the amount of the available cash balance in your account, whichever is lower.

Actually we do more with regards to our memebrs throughout the world. Our CashX Prepaid card is a "Real" card and used as a travel card that can be issued to our members throughout the world. We also offer prepaid cards in many other currencies and these can be attached to your CashX eWallet.

Just to clarify. You issue US cards from a California bank to non US residents from around the world?

For us (Paxum) our prepaid card is a full MC card with embossed name just like a regular bank. In order to provide a card to people all over the world we needed an international license to issue everywhere in the world.
