You're absolutely right. There's lots of things in this world that aren't the way they are supposed to be. But it feels good to type it out every once in a while.
And lifetime politicians are definitely one of those things.

George Washington refused to run for a second term. Thomas Jefferson envisioned that EVERYBODY would serve one term. It was supposed to be our duty as citizens to be a Senator or Representative at one point in our life.

Not people moving to Washington in their late 30's and 50 years later they are still "representing" the state that they USED to live in.

It's all about money and power baby!

EDIT: By the way...Harry Reids official "residence" is a motel room here in Vegas. He hasn't lived in Nevada in decades.

Seems Nevada has some shitty choices. I'd still vote Reid if I was there. I'd rather have a shitty career politician than be the laughingstock of the rest of the country with an IQ over 80.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

The largest union of registered nurses in the country will begin a $200,000 advertising campaign Monday aimed at defeating Sharron Angle, the Republican challenger to Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, with union leaders describing this race as their top priority in the midterm elections.
The $200,000 is the largest ever expenditure on a political race by the union, National Nurses United, officials said. The campaign will include TV commercials that portray Ms. Angle as bumbling and extremist, as well as Internet banner advertisements and direct mail.

Clearly your HS failed to educate you

A standing army and the right to bear arms are two different things. The right to bear arms was put in place to protect the citizens from an over encroaching government so something like Nazi Germany or Solvent Union would never happen in the US.

Our founding fathers new that politicians and rulers would always want to chip away at liberty and there could/would come a time where the citizens must stand up against the government. We are a far far far way away from that.

An unarmed person is a subject an armed person is a citizen.

ANGLE: You know, our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government. And in fact Thomas Jefferson said it's good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years.

I hope that's not where we're going, but, you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out.
