Probably because, compared with the others, is already used by big sponsors for some time now. Also, it has been used for years for other mainstream big sites like freelancer.com.

Paypal, Moneybookers, Wire, Checks. That's it. I used them for more than a decade without a problem, why try the "new big thing" when I can use the same "reliable old dudes"?
