Merry Christmas! iPhone 4G + Verizon

At least that is the latest rumor: Verizon will get the iPhone to sell for the holiday season and it will be 4G. very cool if it is true but we all know how those iPhone/Verizon rumors end up.....

Agreed, but it almost makes sense as the 4G network will be out soon from Verizon. As Verizon has said, 4G will be available in 30 NFL cities by years end. Calling them NFL cities is odd unless they will be streaming games live over 4G.

That's gonna suck for AT&T. Almost 25% of users polled would leave them for Verizon should they get the iPhone.

WiMax is so last year. 4G LTE isn't. I wonder if the early adopters on Sprint WiMax 4G know they cannot roam on a 4G LTE network?

The Clear network has the ability to switch to LTE if that becomes the actual standard down the road.

True, but they have to go to every tower and change it.
