Blix Says No Smoking Guns Found in Iraq
Like it matters at this point...Gotta fill all those new SUVs with liberated IRAQI oil....
Anything to distract from the worst American economy since the depression.... ![]() EDIT: Sarcasm and Cynicism has destroyed any hope I have for my children and subsequent generations.... HELP! ********************************* The Associated Press Thursday, January 9, 2003; 10:06 AM UNITED NATIONS ?? U.N. weapons inspectors have not found any smoking guns in Iraq during their search for weapons of mass destruction, the chief U.N. weapons inspector said Thursday. "We have now been there for some two months and been covering the country in ever wider sweeps and we haven't found any smoking guns," Hans Blix told reporters at the United Nations. Blix and his counterpart Mohamed ElBaradei, who heads the International Atomic Energy Agency, were to brief the Security Council Thursday on their assessments of Iraq's 12,000-page weapons declaration. France on Wednesday asked governments to give U.N. inspectors any evidence they have on suspected Iraqi weapons programs, in a request directed at the United States and Britain ahead of the key Security Council meeting. The United States has promised to share information with inspectors, as long as U.S. intelligence sources aren't compromised. "We have and will continue to provide information to the inspectors," a U.S. official said Wednesday, speaking on condition of anonymity. © 2003 The Associated Press |

there was a movie on tv the other day with a submarine starring M.Kayne. The planet faced the nuclear results of human's stupidity. From San Fransisco up to Melbourne none left alive. Such scenario is not that far from reality. Some people need to see something to believe it. Guess.....they might be lucky in the future.
