    Transferring domains -help, I forgot how!

    Goodness, it's been so long since I moved domains that I'm lost

    I have an account with GoDaddy. I am trying to transfer some domains into it that are already registered other registrars. I'm not buying the domains, it's merely a pass over. The option I see with GoDaddy is to register to buy one off someone for $69?? I don't need that. I just need to move a few over.

    Am I making it more difficult than it is?

      make sure to unlock the domain and get the authcode or epp code from the old registrar.
      you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..
