    U.S National Debt Clock

This makes me want to puke. If ya put your mouse over each title it tells you what it means
So far the Obama Administration spent 3.5 trillion this year a lone.

    http://www.usdebtclock.org/

If we WANTED to attempt to pay off the U.S, Debt that would mean every tax payer.....you and me......if we all could right a check to pay off the debt we'd have to right a check for $121,161.00. BUT THE NATIONAL unfunded debt is 110,423,435,234,348.00
So that is 355,923.00 per citizen.

Mind blowing and I HOPE everyone votes Midterms on NOV 2. For those who do not pay attention YOU BETTER. Midterms mean we have an election every two years. Our Votes(supposably) replace 1/2 of congress each time or vote for 1/2 each time. Just a heads up if you wanted more info. I look at that clock and feel like something has to be done.

Look in the right column, that's the nation Debt to GDP Ratio for those countries, Japan was doing good till they tried a bunch of stimulus packages
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
    think about that

While there is historical appeal in debt free money, its kind of impossible now that the contol of money is no longer held by the government, and with this rather odd system of fiat currency and fractional reserve banking/lending. So in essence you do need some debt to 'grease the wheels' so to speak, though I agree that the level of debt is out of control.

Essentially you have the situation where China is buying up American debt at an accelerated rate to keep their currency low, which unfortunately creates far too much money to lend .. hence issues like the housing bubble and subsequent collapse.

To understand a bit about money and debt there is a pretty good introduction docco .. http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/the-ascent-of-money/

Your taxes service the interest on the debt rather than to fund government. The more the debt increases the more the interest. Eventually (now) interest surpases revenues. Deficits increase to 100% of operating costs. You become a slave to the debt. End of story. Enjoy your retirement. Thanks for not caring.. Like the many before you.

If you are trying to refer to Bush I despised him as much as I do Obama. It doesn't really matter who was President it was all intentional and inevitable. The point is that we as a whole weren't paying attention to what these people were doing for generations. And now that a generation wants to do something about it we're called kooks and conspiracy theorists.

oh so everyone just woke up now. ok So if john mccain was president the same thing would be happening? Obamacare is pretty close to the plan mccain laid out and he also planned a stimulus. IT would of been interesting to see how that would of went.

Would have been no different. He's a part of the establishment. Just like Bush, Obama, Clinton, Palin. They are put in place to not rock the boat. Unfortunately someone like Ron Paul who knows how to and would fix the problem will never be allowed in until after the boat sinks with us all on board.

Mccain would of been no different. I do not think you understand what he is saying. After all these shitty presidents in the past two elections, we now have the worst economy that we have seen since the great depression. You obviously did what most of Americans did and just looked past candidates when voting or did not know as much information about past presidents and local politicians that you voted for. If you did not even vote then you have should have NO opinion at all about any of this. Im almost 30 and when i was younger I never gave a shit about how voting or allowing shitty candidates affected me until few years ago. Therefore, it is time to vote the fucks out and the right people in. He is basically saying all of this and that its time to care. But of course when you care comes left wing assholes calling people conspiracy theorists etc because we read up on things that interest us.

Damn when will you idiots realize there is no such thing as a 2 party system, the ones in charge are the bankers, its been the case for 200+ years. They often drive the issues that each of the major parties take to the electorate. As soon as you buy into the Dem vs Rep debate, you are merely watching the sideshow designed to distract you from what has been going on for hundreds of years. Money and economics were made complicated for a reason, there is no way the bankers want you knowing how shit works.

See how bankers have driven shit in the US for hundreds of years .. its 1:40 long, so most of you probably won't bother, but for those interested in educating themselves a little more ..

I also know porn history which most here really dont know. The rightwing porno guy is a new phenomenon because you all came up during the clinton years where janet reno thought going to after adult porn was a waste of resources. Learn about the nixon years or reagan and the meese commission. Now if 911 didnt happen porn was job one for john ashcroft. So he only got to fuck up 2257. But getting a bunch of extreme righties in should be real interesting.

I think its because the cost to run is so high. Meg whitman has spent over 100 million dollars in her run for GOV thats nuts. The days of harry truman who worked in a mens suit store are over.

If they let it all collapse it would of been worse then you could ever imagine. The first campaign I ever worked was when I was a kid for guy molinari a republican.
Nothing was ever collapsing. They created a problem and stole around 30 trillion dollars to pay their gambling debts. The same banks that received the bailout money which they multiplied many times over are the same ones who hold the shares in the Federal Reserve. Also are the ones who are using said money to shut down and buy up the competition for pennies on the dollar. Also the ones who are foreclosing on everyone's property. The same one's who now hold the mortgages and loans to pretty much everything we own. Starting to get the picture? If and when they really pull the plug you are owned no matter what.

Obama didn't spent 3.5 trillion this year. He has spent something like 450b. 1.3 trillion is bailout signed by Bush still bleeding its ass over. The rest is the correction of war costs not previously on the budget by Bush and then, increases that naturally happen being it costs us like 800b-1t a year to run the Country.

Anyway... We can't pay off the debt if the dollars paying the debt is a debt. But it's fun to talk about it like we can.

Most people don't understand that our currency itself is a debt, a promissory note. Not that it matters though.
