Is prostitution of dedicated servers legal?

Yes, the subject read as I intended it to. "Is prostitution of dedicated servers legal?"

I see many hosts on here pimping and ho'ing their services for well below what will
keep them in business. The question is, do you trust a server built and provided by
"the lowest bidder"? We know how that worked out with the Space Shuttle's O-Rings
right?

I am here to proclaim that we only offer the Highest Quality at a FAIR and economically viable price.

Were looking for a few good customers, and we know we have to fish for them with promotions and offers and such, so this is our offer:

6 Months FREE, for all dedicated servers or colocation accounts that sign up this week.

Will we give you 6 months up front FREE? No. That would be insane.

What we will do is simple, we will give you every other month FREE for the first year.

Imagine, every other month, you have NO payment due. Sound good right? The question is, is it fair to both parties? The answer is YES, *IF* the price you and we agree upon makes sense.

Shall we have a word with each other regarding this? Contact me at: [email protected]

I would really love to do some fair business with you all.

You're comparing servers to the space shuttles o-rings?

I would agree about your synopsis of other host pricing. You arrive as a non advertiser to whore your own services free for six months? That said, your retail prices are absurd. At 1/2 your list you would be at our pricing and although we are the highest in quality, we are not the cheapest in the room.

Best of luck and cool domain for your brand! If you want to buy wholesale and unmanaged for 60%+ off your list prices, I'm happy to help with your margins.

The prices we post for public consumption are always higher to protect our wholesalers. We do not want to undercut our wholesalers the way you just did right now. Anyone who wants pricing from us will get a proper deal. If you are a hosting company who needs wholesale pricing, please contact me. I will beat Brads pricing hands down for hosting companies who need colo or dedi-managed or un.

End users, I will make great fair prices with you on dedicated servers and/or colocation and VoIP. Lets talk.

this is why we went with brad and mojohost, i would never trust my business to anyone new in the hosting business (you may not be new but your new here and i dont know anything about you) and giving away so much free stuff just makes me wonder how long you will be in business. you might be able to beat brads price but i doubt u can beat the service he gives, and the feeling knowing that your host is not gonna up and disappear one day.

You talk about unsustainable business models, and then right after offer every other month free?

You might also want to double check all the CPU specs on your site, they make no sense (and border on lying).

You may also want to get a valid SSL cert for your portal.

You may also want to go through your site and look for typographical errors as I see some.

I do like your domain name and website however.
Email me if your company is open to selling.

lol

Absolutely, let's not miss that opportunity!

As to criticals response about price integrity for his wholesalers.. If he is twice retail then he is 3-4x wholesale. Therefore, selling at a regular retail and one would be supportive of a reseller channel with yet lower pricing.

Cheers,

Brad

ha, as I see hosting people in here ripping away I dont feel so bad. With you saying all this information about people losing money on what they are selling. I would say you dont have enough bandwidth or social engineering skills to get good pricing, and maybe you are paying to much for hardware.

GalaxyVisions has been in business for close to 9 years with the same fair pricing and great tech support. If the business model is bad. No would be around for 9 years. Many of the hosts on here have similar pricing and have all been around for a while.

I also learned early in life you will never get far trashing someone else's business to gain respect in yours. Believe it or not, whatever you might be saying about someone else might be true. People in business just dont respect that.

This thread makes me laugh.

Critical, I know you're new here, but we tend to be loyal to our hosts and want quality service on great hardware, minus the gimmicks you're offering.

if you still are offering 6 months free just can't afford to do it upfront then it's because you don't have the money, not because someone else is doing something wrong

At those rates, I'll do it up front with a contract!
