Just to update those who may have seen my thread regarding calling the bank.
I just called again and the lady reassured me my card would work again soon, i asked specifically if they had severed ties or if new cards would have to be printed, she replied that my card would begin working again.

I can't imagine Micheal, alone, being on numerous boards, with numerous threads and thousands of posts per thread per board, to keep up. Seems impossible to do, especially when he has no news to report from his employers. I don't know what going on. Nobody does I think, except Visa, a bank and epass having a unresolved issue with eachother which is affecting the industry and all it's users, where no clear outcome is obvious yet. I hope everybody involved get what they expect in a positive way. Fingers crossed
It's not helping, I agree. Worse even. On the other hand people having funds stuck need to be able to discuss it and ask questions about their own situation. You can't blame people for being upset, it's a livelyhood for many. It should be respected.I have over US$13k stuck there, and I do want my money.
But what good will it do to curse, and threaten Epass employees?
Specially Michael O that has helped this community time and again over the years. I cannot imagine Epass support without him, everyone that has ever needed some help from Epass through the years, got it from him. He's a great support guy, and is always willing to help.
People that go around calling names, and threatening, are doing no good to solve this issue.
Let's hope epass, visa and this bank work it out and come with good news soon. If not, it will cause a landslide to this industry for sure.Comment

lol that about sums it up .. although for me i can still get paid by check without too much hassle , for others it is a big hassle, and i only had a tiny sum in epass vv , others are facing foreclosure.1. Denial ? "I feel fine."; "This can't be happening, not to me."
Denial is usually only a temporary defense for the individual. This feeling is generally replaced with heightened awareness of situations and individuals that will be left behind after ePass's death.
2. Anger ? "Why me? It's not fair!"; "How can this happen to me?"; "Who is to blame?"
Once in the second stage, the individual recognizes that denial cannot continue. Because of anger, the person is very difficult to converse with on GFY due to misplaced feelings of rage and envy. Any individual that symbolizes life or energy is subject to projected resentment and jealousy.
3. Bargaining ? "Just let me get my money out please."; "I'll do anything for a few more bucks."; "I will give my left nut if only..."
The third stage involves the hope that the individual can somehow postpone or delay the death of ePass. Usually, the negotiation for an extended payout is made with a higher power in exchange for a reformed lifestyle. Psychologically, the individual is saying, "I understand ePass will die, but if I could just have more time..."
4. Depression ? "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"; "ePass is going to die... What's the point?"; "I miss my money, why go on?"
During the fourth stage, the broke person begins to understand the certainty of ePass's death. Because of this, the individual may become a lurker, refuse trolling or spend much of the time crying and grieving. This process allows the disgruntled person to disconnect oneself from things like money and food. It is not recommended to attempt to cheer up an individual who is in this stage. It is an important time for grieving that must be processed.
5. Acceptance ? "It's going to be okay."; "I can't fight it, I may as well prepare for it."
In this last stage, the individual begins to come to terms with ePass's mortality or that of their money.

i know instinct is to rage and panic (for me too) but really its best to not go wild on the forums and create more panic. Something happened, benefit of the doubt says Epass had some sort of issue that needed to be resolved, because someone else (the bank) wanted to cover its ass. its fixing it. im sure when its back working we'll get a nice email with a little bit more specific information. so long as it comes back, that is all that matters, so lets just take it easy. it hasnt been terribly long yet, just over 1 working week.

I don't believe that a movie has caused this issue; I wouldn't be inclined to think that, but I'm also offering no opinion on what may or may not be going on with the company, since it's none of my business.
I do think that silence might work against them as far as public perception, but again, none of my business.
If someone else has a viable solution and there is no resolution quickly, or at least explanation, it would definitely lead to a possible market shift.Comment

I am in contact and get updates several times a day.What I want to know is if the employees of epass have any contact at all with their boss and why we see epass employees (Shaliza for example) logged in to gfy every day following the posting here without leaving any replys...
I do trust Michael though. He told me he is 100% sure it will be solved. So I still trust in epass but they handle this very bad. Very bad.

In #1 and #3 you mention things Vias have reportedly said. Have you had this first hand from Visa or from a reliable source. If a 'reliable source', can I ask who?My funds are not available almost 2 weeks later , time for some answers.
#1 what are the "program deficiencies" referred to by VISA regarding epassporte ?
#2 What exactly are you/epassporte waiting for ?
#3 Why can i not access/transfer my funds online , as visa has reported we should be able to.
While i understand Michael is not epassporte , you are a rep and can find the answer to these questions as your customers would like/deserve to know.

Michael, you say you get updates several times a day. Are the things moving forward or do you mostly get "we are working on it" each time? You get soem vague updates or are they clear what is solved and what not..?I mean do you get any information that makes you believe that things are going in the right direction? No need to tell us what they are if you cant, but we are all wondering here if the things are going in the right direction. Several updates per day or daily updates - I am guessing you would not be receiving them if things would not resolve step by step or?
Also another thing - you seemed very positive the things will be resolved last week, all back to normal, even visa card and you didnt hide this enthusiasm. Does anyone have Visa International's number who would actually know something about the situation?The Observer spoke exclusively with Patricia Wilkinson, SKNANB executive manager in marketing, who said the bank had been cleared of any wrongdoing as outlined in the Visa press statement.
?Visa sent out a press release and spoke on the matter. They posted a press release absolving National Bank of any wrong-doing. We have no issues with Visa because they clarified the issue,? she said.
Wilkinson declined to make any statements regarding ePassporte?s relationship with SKNA National Bank, referring The Observer to Visa?s statement.
?I?m not speaking to the relationship with ePassporte and National Bank. The claims made in the initial press release, Visa spoke to that on our behalf. I can?t speak to anything Visa has said about ePassporte. ePassporte put out the initial statement that started the controversy and Visa clarified essentially the Bank?s position. Anything else that Visa would have said about ePassporte that is between them, and you?d have to call ePassporte or Visa to get information from them.
