    The Hun Sending Me 35K Uniques?

    I had a couple of galleries listed for free on the Hun. Stats show the Hun sending me around 35,000 unique visitors on each day that a gallery was posted. How is that possible from one obscure text link hidden amongst hundreds of others? Sorry I'm new to this submission thing.

                      The first gallery was for my own site. I got 8 signups within 2 days but I dont know if its from the hun traffic or not.

                      The second gallery was for a sponsor and I got 5 signups. within 2 days after the gallery was posted. Again, I dont know if it was the traffic or not.

                          Back in the day "a couple of galleries listed for free on the Hun" would shut down a server. Like others have mentioned, what matters is your conversion ratio.

                                          35,000 a day x 2 days = 70,000 - 8 signups = 1:8750
                                          35,000 a day x 2 days = 70,000 - 5 signups = 1:14,000

                                          seems about right for The Hun.

                                                  Sadly not quite the site it used to be. Used to be a nice feeling getting a mail to say they were going to list you as you knew you were going to do good sales. Think the most I had was 23 in a day.

                                                                      it is amazing the staying power the hun has. Incredible how many hits a gallery listed there will get. I remember the first listing I managed to get on there over a decade ago, I did a happy dance until I got the bandwidth bill! hahaha
