Just because you dont like Bush doesnt mean you are right, I am not american so i havent been indoctrinated by american media. I'm telling you that america has been disliked much longer than the bush years.
Put it this way, Britain has long been touted as america's closest ally and we are meant to have a "special relationship" but even here the anti-us feelings have been streatching back years and years. Possibly it burst out from just mumblings during the latter cold years era when europe was used as little more than a place to put american warheads but anti-us feelings can certainally stretch back to at least the second world war.
Remember that america has a isolationist policy for most of the early 20th century which certainally didn't help their image but can Bush be blamed for that too?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Americanism Ohh, look The Bush administration extended back to the 18th century ;)

haha ok well guess why I didn't mention the UK - you guys have always hated us and always will.. The UK and Canada have little brother syndrome - it's a mixture of jealousy, awe, and fear.

funny how nobody seems to realize the economical power the muslim population has..
a few years ago some funny drawings were published in danish newspapers, the economical downfall from this (right or wrong) was lost revenues for industry in denmark, hundreds of millions.
years of diplomacy and business contacts ruined overnight..
sure cant agree with this tactics, but money talks tho right?

RadicalSights 09-10-2010 03:22 PM

It has more in common with the 3rd world nations concerns than any jealousy or fear. Up here in Canada American corporate interest has done plenty of fucking around too. They've fucked heavily with our agricultural, oil, and soft woof lumber industries. Continuously meddle with the politics of our country, and remain pretty fucking ignorant in the process of doing so. I live about 10km from the border and we get American college kids jumping the border to party here all the time in the ski season. You can pick them out no problem, and very very few of them are liekd well enough to connect with the locals on any level.

It's the same ignorant American attitude that has earned the stereotype just about everywhere outside of the states, and I genuinely wish my own government didn't have your government's hand so far up it's fucking ass...

Seriously Americans protest by burning the Koran and Muslims protest by killing people. What wonderful peaceful religion.
I never heard this fucking asshole Imam call for Muslim extremist to show tolerance. Why doesn't this dip shit lead a really in Iran or Saudi Arabia against violence and terrorism. Wait he might lose his funding.
