      you can actually join aarp at any age as an associate member. i get weird looks though when i use my ard for discounts being 24 and all

          Yeah. I used AARP as a loophole to get really cheap insurance when I was 24. Then I got a ticket. Rates went up 3x, and there was nothing I could do but chance insurance companies.
