    Possible to buy iPhone 4 WITHOUT AT&T?

    If its possible, I will order one from the US..

    But if I try and buy one from Apple.com they tell me I need AT&T....what if I send a friend in California to get one for me..how do I deal with AT&T?

    Possible to buy without AT&T?

      I think you can buy one in store with the option of using ATT's prepaid plan, but then Jailbreak it and hook it up on T-Mobile.

      I've never done it, but the details are readily available online.

          No. iPhone requires a two-year AT&T wireless service contract.

          You can still get them from apple without a contract in the UK, but then you pay UK prices - the 32 gig is 918 USD with no contract.

              Whats your location ? I know Apple sell unlocked network free ones in Canada and the UK...maybe get somebody to ship you one ? .

                  I do not have the slightest idea why anyone would want any kind of Apple product! People write about what a nefarious fellow Bill Gates is but he doesn't hold a candle to that band of reprobates over at Apple! Did also know that you cannot pay CASH for an iPhone? Credit cards ONLY! Supposedly to minimize large buys of the product for overseas sales.

                  Yeah, right.

                  Apple, Mac and all their people and products suck balls!

                                  I've had mine for about a month now. iPhone4, 32gigs

                                  I paid the full price cuz I don't like contracts. $749 +tax... minus my FIDO dollars so I ended up paying $400 and change.

                                  No contract. I can take it to any provider that supports iPhone anywhere in the world.

                                          Apple have stopped selling it unlocked in the states, as I linked to several posts ago.

                                          But god, that's so much cheaper than the $918 I paid!

                                              Europe, yea I got friends in the US but I think you cannot buy them unlocked without a contract actually...how about Canada?

                                                          Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
