what is the smartest banner rotator available these days?

Just wondering what your thoughts are.

There is one i'm running on a blog using wordpress that is pretty cool, but forget the name which count clicks etc. plus can be set to favour certain banners and stuff.
Will try and find out the name for those interested. but I'm looking to see if there is any other's you would suggest?

I remember max banner ads was also a nice one for wordpress, aswell as WP 125. But these are fairly basic.

Pleasae Put some suggestions in this thread with some features of the plugin or script and a link if available, want to try some new banner management software/plugins out

I was once a proud supporter of openx... They seriously over-did everything though.

another vote for openx. It is very flexiable. takes a minute to dial into how you want to work. However, once it's going it's amazing. imho.

Agreed, it's way overkill and bloated most of the time. A very simple PHP snippet plus a flat file will do in most cases.

I kind of agree, it should have a simpler version too.

@OP: But still, OpenX is cool. Give it a try.

Openx is good but be careful of 3rd party codes [black label ads etc] because once you get an attack site warning for 3rd party it is a bitch to clean up.

We use openx and it's a dream.

Reminds me it's time to update a few that are not performing.

OpenX is great! but could be overkill yes. But if you are a stats freak and want to pinch out every last cent of revenue, go for it!

I use Smart Spots and can recommend it. I've used openx as well and prefer Smart Spots.

wp-ads counts the clicks and you can manage the the amount of clicks a certain ad gets if you are selling spots. It is pretty basic besides that. Very easy to use.
