The difference between the two, if I remember correctly is, babechat does not allow hardcore on cam, and that is where yourdailycams comes into play. Dont quote me on it, but I know that was somewat the situation around the split.

Also, the way it works is if you get members to join one site that is part of one of the two networks they get access to all of the cam shows that are ran on that program.

No. Though it does work good.

I have Flash Media Server (I use it already to stream out member content). We use that along with Live Media Encoder (the free adobe software that you probably use in conjunction with your Streamate camming already) and a chat window that we found and hacked up a bit to fit us.

So we are 100% self contained. We can do anything we want on our cam shows (and do) without any constraints. In other words Claudia-Marie has guest stars (Rebecca Love, Selena Swallows, Kayla Kleevage, etc.) and even live sex shows with male talent sometimes.

We really have fun doing the weekly free cam show. Took a lot of tweaking and learning curve to get all the features that I needed to make it work just right for our needs. But once we did...it's super nice.

That sounds sweet. Unfortunately my webcam doesn't work with the FME, so I'm using wirecast. I'll email streamate and ask them if I can do something like this though. Thanks for the info!

But seriously...this is about SOLO girl sites. And once a week is plenty. Keeps the feeling special. Overexposure is no good in the entertainment biz. You want to have them coming back for more. We tried a few different things in the beginning (started streaming these cam shows off Claudia-Marie.Com back in 2007).

First we made them "events" and spent a few weeks promoting them. Then one week we did them every day.

What we found out was that the "event" idea was pretty good, but too many people forgot about it and missed it then bitched.
The week we did it every day was a disaster. The first two days were pretty good. By the end of the week it was down to a trickle of viewers (overexposure)
The way we've done it for the last couple of years is once a week. Same time, same day every week. Big numbers.
And I'm going to add a once a month "matinee" show for our European fans. We've got members in the UK for instance who are sitting up to watch the show at 3 a.m. on a Wednesday night! We do it at 10 p.m. Eastern/7 Pacific so for Europe it's VERY late.

Gonna throw in a once monthly show at noon Pacific for the Europeans so they don't have to watch it with toothpicks holding their eyelids open.

As for the 24/7 cams on a solo girl site. We have a couple of girls who do that on SoloSlutCash.Com But you have to remember that just because a girl has house cams on doesn't mean that SHE is on them 24/7

It's a good gimmick though.

Anyway Paul, just wanted to point out the this is all about solo girl sites. As far as the big generic porn sites that all shoot those same couple of dozen girls over and over? There is no answer. At least not one that would be profitable.

I can see the draw back with a solo girl site that has totally loyal members. But if a lot of the members are gone in a few months, then the girl isn't holding onto them very well in the first place.

I did just look at www.camzfeeds.com and it looked a bit fake for my tastes. But not sure how it would work on our sites.

Yes for a site to put out one show every day of the same girl, might be a bit exhausting. Unless the shows in themselves are "events" and that as you point out is too expensive for most sites.

What I do know is we get a lot of members return to sign up for 3 days, JUST, to watch the live show we put out that night. They just want to spend $2.99 for one show. It's a feed.
