no, kicking them when they're down would be after they start making threads like, "I was sentenced to 10 years for tax evasion!" and then laughing and posting pics of Willie Nelson and shit.

this is more like, pre-kicking.

It seems that is a primary reason why people did not take epass' advice and keep their monies in the wallet.

If epass knew this type of situation could happen, they could of set the default for the wallet where money is safe, and not the virtual visa account. This is kinda neglect due to the risks by defaulting this sort of action.

They could have done that, but they decided to give the end user the choice. :thumbsup

You should be spending time improving your own life, perfecting what is right or wrong rather putting your 2 cents in when people are in a struggling time.

If you are not perfect you should not have time to make this thread.

You're the same guys who make fun of "losers" for working at mcdonalds meanwhile it is people just trying to work, pay some bills and live a little.

I don't use epass but i hope it works out for everyone. Yep good job for people, their rent is locked up, their food money is locked up. But you use this time to be pompous towards them. good for you.

We need more threads like this for people to tell poor people how much better they are then them.

:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

The whole thing is a mess and not everyone who uses epass is using it to avoid paying taxes.

Hopefully people that have Epass for business keep a separate account in QuickBooks to track that money ... and report it.

I seem to recall reading in MO's epic thread that the default now is to send to the wallet. They did not arbitrarily change it to the wallet for those that had accounts prior to the implementation of the wallet feature.

Just what I recall reading, you can ask MO to clarify if you wish.

This thread is about the people who are using it to evade taxes.

right, exactly, my comments were about those that use epass for illegal activities...
it's unfortunate that many innocent webmasters got affected by it, I feel bad for them, and hope it all gets resolved... but I feel little sympathy towards those that actually do use it for illegal activities, they are the ones that are fucking it up and putting accounts of us honest webmasters at risk...

I don't NEED to use epass... but a lot of my clients do so that leaves me in a shitty situation with a lot of potential/current clients unable to pay for design/html/css work.

50 epass users...

Not sure how you can use it to avoid taxes if you are in the US. You still get a W9.
