Forget about epass. Ordinary scammers. I have $14k stuck in visa virtual account. And when I wrote them en email asking to wire me money, they just answered "Firstly please fund e-wallet account in order to get wire". They even haven't comment about my money in visa virtual account, as they forgot about it long time ago....SEOComment

If the money is locked in the bank then at some point we must get our money right?
If the money is gone, then some legal action will be taken and i guess we will get a small percentage of our money back - i got a reasonable chunk back from globill after sending all the forms in. I guess they went after the guys behind it and sold off all the stuff they had and then sent us what they worked out was our share.
I guess someone here or whom has lost a big sum will know the legal steps to take to go after the people responsible?
I think the fact they are sending some wires is a bit of hope.
If it is true you can go to st shits and take the cash out of the bank, then they must be able to wire it to another account if you fax them some id?
I only had a few k locked in but i would still like it back since it's mine. Even better if the entire thing starts working again since it is a pain in the ass to take tiny checks to the bank from loads of different companies and my bank charges a ton for this and even make me fill out all the shit forms myself, then wait 8 weeks to clear. Surely another company like epass will come along soon since it's a great idea. Pitty paypal stopped adult stuff.Comment

Must say watching this implosion has been interesting. While it was expected by me, I really expected it years sooner.
The last time Epassporte had major issues, again they left webmasters and other customer high and dry. Amazed that some people just didn’t learn.
It is possible that Epassporte will be able to dig themselves out of this mess, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.
Some of you like the one living had to mouth and then going to Hawaii for a vacation deserve to lose everything if your immature impulse purchases and wasted money on god knows what are more important than putting at least $1,000 away elsewhere just in case. You are not a businessman or women if this is how you live. Sorry but that's a fact.
If however you work your ass off, and scrimp and save and what little you had was enough to take you week to week I respect you and feel sorry for you – especially if you are a student. I really do, as I have been there myself. I know whats it's like to have pocket change and no money for another week coming in and no food in the house.
As for those who use epass to launder money and avoid taxes, I understand if this is what you have to do to survive but, if you drive a nice car, have a nice house, go on expensive vacations and this is how you are raising your standard of living ON THE BACKS OF LEGITIMATE TAX PAYERS…FUCK YOU and Epassporte is now the least of your problems.
If the only way you were able to survive in business for a year or more is by avoiding taxes, it’s time to get another job. I venture to say 1/3 or more of you fall into this category.
I hope the majority of you can recover your funds and be smart enough to do business in a far more secure and dare I say way that is more legitimate.
Remember that fact that you can move money around by bypassing banks, so can the terrorists as well as organized crime. Maybe cutting off this style of slush funding could stop another 911 from happening again.
We have huge deficient in this country due to President Bush and we need to collect taxes owed by those who do not pay and maybe the rest of us who are legitimate won’t have to pay increased taxes.Comment

Ya know, I don't know Mallick so I really cannot say if I like him or not and that is not relevant. I think the guy should address the community....the industry that made him who he is today. Our acceptance of his services and the trust most of us placed in his company deserves a statement from him. Even if he makes an appearance to say "Ya know, the lawyer types have my hands tied but as soon as I can I will personally let everyone know what happened, how we corrected it and how we intend to move forward"

It chills me to imagine him sitting in an office, leaning back and thinking to himself 'fuck those fucking fuckers, they'll get their fucking money and then they will forget all about this shit'
one simple statement that just shows he is as concerned about it as much as the guy who just ate his last can of soup and has all his money in his Virtual Visa would be not only nice, but an appropriately good business decision, and keep in mind, I have been one of the much more reserved voices during all of this.
