I don't understand why there is no any info from Epassporte yet. If I understand it right Epassporte has 2 different bank accounts. A first one for money that were stored on a wallet and it's active. That's why webmasters can order these money from Epassporte now. A second one was for visa virtual money and it's inactive. No access to money on a second bank account.

I'm afraid there is a very great likelihood that a second bank account will be never active and all money there will be frozen forever. This is the reason why Epassporte doesn't post here any news. Nothing to say

It would be good if I'm not right.

DEA you're simply showing what an idiot you are. Your "prediction" was totally off the mark. No large programs closed to kick off this epassporte problem. You clearly don't have any "insider" information and you're just making yourself look like a giant asshat. What your goal is here I can't even imagine.

Basically you've jumped on the first major Epassporte problem in 7 years and started screaming that you were right all along. Clearly you weren't and you're just riding this issue to advance your own stupid agenda in regards to not liking Epassporte.

I actually hope they get things straigned out just to finally shut up your retarded show boating. Just go back to being inconsequential but quiet, please.

You may be right...as I do not know/recall when the bank notified epassporte that their Visa account was suspended. I thought it was on Friday.

So, no one else caught this from the AVN article

Another possible discrepancy between the Visa and Mallick announcements has to do with which entity initiated the suspension of ePassporte Visa. Mallick said, somewhat vaguely, “…we were notified that effective immediately, Visa International has suspended our banking partner’s (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank) ePassporte Visa program,” while Visa states, more clearly, “At the request of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (SKNA), on September 2, 2010, Visa blocked network access for prepaid cards issued by SKNA and operated by ePassporte.com to address certain program deficiencies.”

Leads to believe that ePass was shut off by their own bank, not Visa.

This is the most interesting thing pointed out so far.

Thursday between 2-3pm EST Cards went down, I have to imagine that they knew before I did (at 2-3pm Thursday).

The messages are very mixed. Visa says to contact the bank and/or Epassporte to retrieve the money from the frozen VV accounts. Rumor is, if you contact the bank they refuse to say much and tell you to call Epassporte (I haven't tried myself.) Epassporte rep here conspicuously refuses to answer the repeated questions about "where is the money" / "why can't we access the money".

My own theory is that when the VV accounts were disabled, the money rests in a bank account that Epassporte can access. They *could* transfer those funds back into our wallets or otherwise repatriate it to us, but once they start doing so, the accounting for that bank account gets hairy as hell. If they hope to get the Visa cards working again, they have to leave that account untouched.

There's a lot of fear-mongering about Epassporte or the St. Kitts bank, but I haven't seen any evidence that gives me any solid reason for concern there. I just wish Epassporte would be a little more forthright about the status of these funds, whose control they are currently under, and exactly what the various possible outcomes are. We all understand that matters are in flux, but I don't understand why it's not possible to be more clear about the things that Epassporte must know, such as who actually does control the funds while the accounts are frozen.

bad news

I just check the whois database for epassporte.com bought via moniker and used their whois search - THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Check for yourself.

Anonymous domain whois. (I can't post an image before 30 post so no screenshot) but go check on any whois domain search feature like dannames.com/whois-lookup.aspx

EVEN worse - Have you ever check the website form an address. I just did. NONE. No address at all. Not even on the contact us NO ADDRESS. The is really ugly.

That's one speculation , but a good one From a pure biz pov, if you have any hope of getting back to biz within a reasonable timeframe you don't want to be doing that. However, they might be forced to act at some point soon if this scenario is touching on the truth.

NOTHING to concerned about???? Are you joking???

THERE IS NO ADDRESS ON EPASSPORTE.COM - NO ADDRESS. I mean this is a big business and no address. What do you think VISA thnk about this? VISA saying like you "no concern" + anonymous domain??

VISA says "NO CONCERN" - I don't think so. If you really think you clearly needs a reality check.

The is more ugly then I first thought - I beat all my epass money some is going to have as
cell just beside Maddox

Who knows what is going on. No one seems to be giving a straight answer. I did call the St. Kitts bank and two different people on the phone said they had no idea where money from the VV's cards were. They did not know if it was in their bank, with Visa Corp etc. I asked if they could find out...the answer was NO. I talked to 4 different people, none of which would give their names, and two of which hung up on me. They said they were being told to send everyone to epass. When I read the *supposed* statement from Visa and said the statement seems to imply we can get the funds from them, they said that we could not get our funds from the bank and to contact epass. The last person I spoke with, when I persisted said that the bank was in negotiations with epass to get the issues resolved and he (her boss) was expected to have news that afternoon.

From that last statement it led me to believe that yes, the issue is between the St. Kitts bank and epass and not Visa & the bank. I believe someone else phoned also and was told that they could not get the money from St. Kitts contrary to the *supposed* Visa statement that a blog posted (but a poster in this thread confirmed they received the same statement from contacting visa corp through their webpage I believe)

Another possible discrepancy between the Visa and Mallick announcements has to do with which entity initiated the suspension of ePassporte Visa. Mallick said, somewhat vaguely, ??we were notified that effective immediately, Visa International has suspended our banking partner?s (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank) ePassporte Visa program,? while Visa states, more clearly, ?At the request of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (SKNA), on September 2, 2010, Visa blocked network access for prepaid cards issued by SKNA and operated by ePassporte.com to address certain program deficiencies.?

Leads to believe that ePass was shut off by their own bank, not Visa.

This is the most interesting thing pointed out so far.
It was discussed more in other threads that specifically addressed VISA's statement. And yes, it does seem that the bank cut off ePass per VISA's statement and the AVN article.

So it looks like Visa has NO PROBLEM with epass, they suspended visa only because of the bank. I know, nothing new, but if this is the real story so we SHOULD be optimistic that OUR CURRENT CARDS will get back to be working soon. Or i am too much optimistic?

I have to agree with Warchild.

BTW... What do you do in adult? I tried looking up something you did that was adult related and I couldn't find anything. So I went on a tour of the Internets and guess what? I couldn't find you making money anywhere...

VISA says "NO CONCERN" - I don't think so. If you really think you clearly needs a reality check.

The is more ugly then I first thought - I beat all my epass money some is going to have as
cell just beside Maddox
I'm sure that who needs to have their address has it already.

So, Mallick say's it's Visa's doing.

Visa say's that Mallick's bank cut his cards off.

This is a no win situation for him if that's the case and he DID lie, which is merely speculative here in the public court.

If he did tell the industry a little white lie and it was his bank, a few things just happened:

1) You lied to the industry that uses your cards.
2) You pissed off Visa by blaming them.
3) His bank who really has the problem with him decides to freeze all funds.
4) No one gets the money for a long time, or ever.

Either way, this looks not so good. Why would you lie to people on the web? Everyone always finds out everything on the web. GFY is a small version of 4Chan. You can't keep truth from some people.

The truth will come out. I don't want to speculate, but someone is lying. Is it Visa or Mallick? That is the question. In lying situations, the person most apt to lying is the one who has the most to lose. Does Visa have more to lose in this than Mallick?

There is still a solution:
Visa suspended epass, epass doesn't know why (and posts the public message), then they found out the bank has asked Visa to do it.

But who knows, we are only guessing according rumors acctually.

Also PayPal is owned by eBay.com - do I need to say more?

visa made a statement. mallick made a statement. those are not rumors. but sure why not, entertain that too. at least then they are only guilty of being stupid and posting public comments before they know why they got shute off.
