Your responses are really not helping anyone at all....no point in responding..Tell you one thing. This ends epassporte whether epass is good hearted enough to help people get there money or you steal it and say there is nothing that can be done(which everyones expecting).

cambaby 09-02-2010 07:26 PM

Michael, first off thanks for replying to our questions, secondly Im still very curious about the distinction between a wallet and the visa part, so physically they are two separate accounts, not virtually but physically the money is separated? Why cant you just automatically move the money into the wallet area "virtually" if its a virtual safeguard? Otherwise Im not sure it makes much sense to the layman whats going on here.

What do you expect him to say, if this is all resolved by the morning or alternative measures are done, they will have done the proper thing and acted professional, you'll be that guy that went asshole over a 24 outage they had no control over.

Lots of us (probably) have as much cash as you do sitting in VV that we can't touch. Im not happy but its too early to waste my time stressing about what I can't change.

Serge Litehead 09-02-2010 07:32 PM

I guess it's a good thing Epassporte is not banking in the US or it could have been another WMC fiasco

ideaworx 09-02-2010 07:33 PM

Standing by, thanks for the continued updates Michael O.

DavieVegas 09-02-2010 07:33 PM

Ok so visa works 9-5 mon-thursday...Which means nothing will told to us until next week sometime...Visa knew what they were doing..no backlash.

Michael, please stop ignoring this question.

Please explain why funds can't be moved from virtual to wallet.

I think some people have their hopes set too high. I might not be an expert on how banking works but I don't see this being resolved in a timely manner whatsoever.

What I, and I'm sure everyone else, would like to know is this... what exactly are you guys going to do to ensure people don't lose their money? Replying with things like "we're working on it" just doesn't cut it... not when you, for all intensive purposes, hold the livelihood of so many people in your hands.

There is no reason that you guys shouldn't be able to
a. lock out the virtual visa thing entirely until the issue is resolved
b. cover all funds that are currently locked in the virtual visa accounts and make said funds available in peoples wallets.

I know the shit just hit the fan, but when you're the... middle men (sic)... between someone and their money then your first priority should be making sure those people can get their money. Saying "sorry, your funds are fucked at the moment" is completely unacceptable IMHO.

Guys Michael is customer support with hooks in adult. He isn't a technical programmer at epassporte, we'd have to assume he does not know why we can or cannot do certain things with the funds. I never saw him dodge answers, and don't think he's intentionally not telling you anything.

What do you want, him to speculate?

Exactly. They should be giving people the option to wire money to their account immediately.

IllTestYourGirls 09-02-2010 07:41 PM

So if I place all the payments into my wallet I will be able to get them via bank transfer or put onto my bank debt card?

Hello Michael

What type of solution may have this problem? You may come around after Epass talking to Visa and operate our cards again next week or should we forget our plastic and wait for a solution by other means.

If you don't know the answer to a question, you find out. That's what the face of a company does.

"I don't know" is never acceptable.

this fucking sucks..... tree huggers fault for the fucking hours...

on another note.....

I am surprised people aren't stating the obvious ....

The V V and the Wallet are not 2 of the same.. if this makes sense ... although they may be on the same page they could be 18000 miles apart in reality ... and for all we know could be the cause of the shut down to begin (just speculating worst case stuff) anyone remember bangin cards out?

basicly it is like this in leymans terms...

virtual visa Bank = A

Wallet Bank = B

epass is = C

A was shut down so any money in A will be "froze" as banks like to put it...

B is still in good standing

C = is just the middle man that the accounts show up on.. a "stats page" so to speak or something like stats remote many accounts 1 view...

a transfers to b be can transfer to a.....

if I have to explain money cleaning 101 to some of the big timers in the thread here something is wrong....

I think the new way of P2P money will be this company I just found out through my bank....

www.popmoney.com I am set up but have not used it.... anyone else know about it or set up through their bank?

I hope all affiliate programs will be smart as yours and hold their payments and/or asks current affiliates to change payment method immediately

Sharky 09-02-2010 07:48 PM

I found out about this by a $7 transaction at Wendy's being declined. I thought it was just another "international card" swipe problem. I've only got a little over $800 in the account, but it would still suck to lose it.

Also, stop jumping on Michael's ass. He's helped me out many times in the past, and is only the messenger here. I'm sure the questions that weren't answered are because he doesn't have that answer, YET.

With this being said, I know I'll have a hard time trusting epassporte enough to leave any money there in the future. I've always left under $1k in the account for this reason, but this is like the straw that broke the camels back.

IllTestYourGirls 09-02-2010 07:49 PM

If we promise to buy The Middle man dvd when it comes out, do we get all our money?

DateDoc 09-02-2010 07:50 PM

Dang, now I know why my card was declined for a soda! Good job I only have $8 in there.

tough times.

it's never a good sign when a financial institution "suspends" an account with no notice or a reason given.

How does Manwin pay its affiliates? Hmmmmm....

Epassporte and Wire payments available

Sharky 09-02-2010 08:01 PM

Id I read this right.. It's the St Kitts National Bank that lost the Visa rights. Because of that, epassporte is affected.

How is this going to affect all the companies processing through the St Kitts bank?

cambaby 09-02-2010 08:01 PM

Can we get a mod to make this sticky? Its pretty important, epassporte has been a major part of the adult business for many years and people need to see whats going on, its the only decent thing to do, thanks.

Unstickied threads get more views. Usually they are not sticked until the thread activity dies down some.
