He stopped a financial collapse and great depression. If his entire time as President if this is all he did, it would be enough.
However he also gave us Credit card bill of rights. He corrected our books to show the proper costs of war and Bush. He expanded loans for small business and for those going back to school. Expanded (schip) kid insurance in that areas that needed it. Banned gifts from lobbyists. Reversed restrictions on stem cell research. He quit putting Israel's interest in front of ours. He dropped fed pressure on medical marijuana patients.
This is the short list... could easy be 100+ things long. |
