Question Regarding Exclusivity - A Real Business Question on GFY!

I own the Pecker Pass Network of websites (see sig).

I have filmed all of the content myself, exclusively for this network.

I am now thinking of licensing some non-exclusive content, as bonus content for my members.

This content would be specifically labeled "bonus" or "free" or "extra" content.

My questions are these...

If I do this, can I still advertise my network of sites as "exclusive"?

If I do this, would it make more sense to develop this content into "free sites" or would "bonus areas" be enough of a separation?

Also, how would this possible addition effect my "exclusive content" status on review sites?

Thanks in advance!

Set up a second group which is kept separate from the exclusive network.

ACCESS ALL OF OUR EXCLUSIVE SITES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!

site site site etc

As a bonus you will also get membership to our partner sites xyz - just don't mention exclusive down here.

Thanks, but would these "partner sites" require full site set-ups, complete with separate domain names, or could I just set up bonus directories within the existing membership area?

Obviously I could do either, but as far as maintaining exclusivity goes, can I do either, or must the separation be more defined?

I see sites labeled as exclusive with bonus content all the time. I think you would be safe. Just do not claim your site is "100% exclusive".

The rest you have pretty much covered.

Basically I just want to make sure that the "exclusive content" statement that I advertise, and that the review sites use, can still be maintained, otherwise adding bonus content will work against me. At the moment all of the content throughout my sites is 100% exclusive, which I think is important to surfers when they decide to join or not. Too may sites rehash licensed stuff, and I want to be sure I would not be shooting myself in the foot if I add bonus stuff.

To keep the existing domains as exclusive I do think you really need them on separate domain names.

I don't think they need to be another branded network just individual sites.

Also, typo: Chicken Chockin' Madness!

The word is choking. So it should be Chokin'

do gallery trades for 'bonus' content... no exclusivity issues then and you might grab some sales as well

Thanks for the typo alert. I just fixed it.

Apparently it has been incorrect for years!

I owe you one!

Unless you really whore it out and it ends up everywhere, no one will know, including the review sites.
