I don't think all tea baggers are racist.... I do think it was started because of racism and racism is what truly fuels it. That doesn't mean everyone is, but damn sure a shit ton of them are.

I've seen all news networks show blacks and people of color talking at the tea party protests, and all news networks report on the percentage of other races at them, just to show it's not all whites.

If the tea party was truly against the gov/spending, growth, etc... and not a (right/conservative) movement... they would stop attacking the left/liberals and get them to join in. But that isn't the message the rest of America gets.

The movement that started with Ron Paul is not the tea party movement we have today. The movement 'actually started' right when Obama signed the papers to allow the bailout Bush setup to continue... It didn't start when Bush did the bailout(S) all 3 trillion of them or the last one - it started 'exactly' when it was known Obama would take office.

If Obama never allowed bailout... we would still have the tea party protesting today, just like they are. If we had a white president, it wouldn't be the same - at all. The moment a white president gets into power, the tea party movement will end.

And, if you look at the Arbitron ratings in the amount of listeners, you will see that the Majority of viewers do like Fox News vs. CNN, MSBC and others.
