wireless has been sped up to 54 mbs. firewire has now doubled to 800 mbs.

How durable is the titanium body of the powerbook? I mean it's titan and all, but one inch thickness still seems a little easy to break for me...

yeah dual processor would be dope, i have always used Mac, but i am on a laptop here in vegas. the mac that i have is slower but i have a ton of ram and the thing has never had a problem. only thing that is a pain on a mac is the fact that not that much software is available.

i'm typing on one right now

i have seen no issues with the body at all. solid as a rock (and i travel with it all the time). apparently some of the first ones had some issues with the hinges on the display, but i've seen no such problems.

the only thing is the titanium body has a tendency to set off the bomb sensors at airports. i remember reading about jfk being shut down for 8 hours due to a titanium powerbook. hasn't happened to me yet though

I've seen a few new desktop replacements from Compaq and Hewlett Packard that super large screens lately but they were also big as a house! I didn't even consider buying them even though they had every other bell and whistle you could ask for.

The Mac is slim and sexy like a All Petite babe.
