It depends. If he's saying "stake me $5,000 and I'll pay you $30,000 in a month" or some shit, perhaps. Why he would actually DO a deal like that though I have no idea...the guy shits money.
If it's betting on whether he'd win some big tournament or something where it's dealing with odds, then it's no different than betting on anything else. Imagine how much people have lost in the past year betting on Tiger Woods.

Hell yes, I've raped plenty of pros, they don't have some mystical secret. As long as you're a decent player, their margin of increased is pretty slim. At any given session, it's 90% the cards you're dealt compared to his. At 6 to 1 odds on the money, you would be insane to turn that game down.
