no because then most people would move out and it would loose its interest (less people, less contacts, etc.), good thing about fb now is that you can find EVERYONE there and msg them.

they should charge for some premium feature but not for using it or they will destry it even for the people that were originally willing to pay...

I used to pay for LiveJournal, but today, with something like Facebook, I'm kind of not into paying for the privilege of having someone else force their values on me for how to live my life, so they can sell my personal data to Experian or other data miners like that.

I don't even use it now... when it's free.

They are on track to make 1.2 - 2 billion this year. They don't need to charge for anything and there are still tons of ways to improve their revenue with out charging anything.
