I'm working on doing a parody of The Suicide Girls. Kind of a white trash comedy version. Anyone have any thoughts about how to monetize it when it's finished?

When someone did a parody site on that domain years ago, I think they tried to monetize it by promoting SpookyCash and other related sponsors. It is my opinion that SG is not a brand with enough traction in 2010 for anyone to look at a parody more than once, especially one folks will already have seen, so it won't have viral appeal a second time around.Comment

@AmeliaG Thanks for checking in. That was actually me who bought it in 2006. The original idea was to have chicks on the toilet photos-only. Then I got into the trailer park thing. I had taken it down after I had to apply for a job where they were doing a very intrusive background check. I'm finally just getting around to giving it a second chance.
AND, I definitely agree that it might not have the same appeal it would have had 6 or 7 years ago, but since I got the domain, I figure, it's worth a chance. I hoping that there may be a whole new audience by now. Fleshbot did a review of it a couple of years ago and they thought it was hysterical. I'm hoping to recreate the magic. @johnuk I like SG too. Getting sued by SG has always been my main concern with doing this, though. I like the site and I'm not trying to anything to harm their business. I just want to give them the Saturday Night Live treatment-and make a few bucks in the process. When I first bought the domain, I wrote to them and asked if I could use it for their affiliate program and they flat out refused me. I may just run it with NO nudity and affiliate ads for other programs and see what happens.
Now where the hell am I supposed to find white trash girl content here in the US???

you know you could just do a short "mockumentary" 10 minutes long with no nudity and post it on youtube etc.
if you keep your site non nude as you say it would probably last on youtube as long as you made it plain that it was a parody. considering the blatant parodies of all kinds of things on youtube it seems likely they would keep it on there.

Not knocking your idea if it appeals to America, I suppose I don't really see anything to mock about the Suicide Girls site and there isn't really a trailer park catagory of person here. The poorer people end up on shitty housing estates and all the girls end up fat horrible cunts.
I'm not really a big fan of tattoos, although the one thing that does seem to be nice is i'm also not a fan of huge fake breasts and a quick scan through a load of the Suicide Girls stuff seems to turn up nearly all girls with slim natural looking figures.↑ see post ↑

if i looked at that site it just seems to be some odd ball porn site. i am not sure many would get it (to be honest i do not).
i think if it would be more amusing if it looked like Suicide Girls with a realy odd bunch of models.
also is "sewer" slang (usa slang) for trashy people? as as slang it does not mean much to me in the uk except for sewage works (as in assosiation with poo).
