                              well cities filter is still in beta testing, basically the taxonamy is implemented already but the filtering interface is missing. http://escort-theme.bangthemes.com/city/madrid/ for instance.

                              so, i am afraid a quick solution would be only listing all cities over the sidebar if that would work for you.
