Well I've not are Red Meat since I was 13, Im 32 now. I couple years ago I made the unwise decision to have a steak. I was violently ill, never again will I touch red meat.

Yeah, I have had similar experiences eating fried or greasy foods after eating clean for an extended period of time. I have had my gall bladder removed too so that adds to my inability to digest certain things. (Raw apples and pork are off my menu anymore)
The only other thing I can think of besides that explanation would be that you ingested some form of bacteria along with your fish and chips. Happened to me once with the same results you had. No upset stomach or nausea but, man oh man my poor butt. Ended up in Urgent Care, dehydrated. Of course, I am not a Dr. I only play one on the interwebs :) Hope you are back to 100% soon! |
It's not food if it isn't fried

totally... getting older causes it too :)
Had popeye's chicken a few weeks back, boy did I feel miserable.. Had a big batch of onion rings last night... same thing.. Pizza on the weekend, didn't feel so good... Basically, your body can't break down the grease... Digestive Enzyme tablets can help.. eg: http://www.webbernaturals.com/produc...sp?id=82&cat=6 as does bitter/acidic food - pickles, lemon juice... |
Not really ill and not from fried foods. But after eating healthy foods for months I would always feel slightly slow and tired after eating fatty foods.
