ibill what a bunch of crap again

got my check today made out to the wrong person.
i have emails from my rep that on the 30 and 31th is was the right name on the check.. talking to someone at ibill they said it takes a week to get things taken care of.. well thats strange since they told us on the 24th and wanted it done by the 26th so her statement makes no senes at all..
also i stated you people held checks back till the 2nd so there should be no screw ups. also they are saying checks that go out on the 15 are going out on the 8th but they dont know for how much and will not show up in cmi
what bullshit..
gonna move all my credit cards to some ones else

Is it in your personal name or your company name? How can it be in the wrong name?

I am scared shitless about some screw up like this and me not being paid until Feb.

Besides "oh , I forgot to sign the check", a wrongpayable to name is the oldest trick in the book to buy time for no money in the account. Bounching checks is against the law, a "mistaken" payable to, is not.

good luck with your money guys

You guys are all a bunch of pussies! Days and days of ranting and raving about how iBill sucks and hearing a whole lotta "I'm gonna do this or that...!" iBillCathy comes on and posts and you're all rolling over like a bunch of fucking pansies!
The Company isn't going out of business. Sure they're as corrupt as any other large Company these days. Hell, almost all of the senior and mid level management team are ex-World Com employees. Go to ftc.org and type in Dave Peterson. This is all public knowledge people.
I stopped using them back in '99. They were doing a good job for me then, but Christ am I glad I got out when I did.
So for those of you bitching and moaning I say this, shut the fuck up and quit whinning! I can't wait to see all you saps come and lick ass at the booth this week!
Change processors if you don't like them.

Anyone who is expecting an out of cycle payout on the 8th may want to contact their rep and make sure you are "on the list". They are doing an out of cycle payment, but from what I was told, not everyone is getting paid.

So, if you are sitting back and waiting for your money, you might be disappointed. Get on the phone and make sure you've got it coming!

Yep this is the nightmare that is keeping me awake these days. Just have to wait until tomorrow to see what arrives.

Does anyone know if Ibill is charging a single wire fee or a fee for each master account?

Ibill Cathy promised me that I would be sorted out, well it's no surprise to me that since her email on the weekend I have heard nothing else, despite her assurances that Monday was the day for sorting it all out.

I am now convinced that IBill are using whatever delaying tactic they can to avoid making payments, why are they doing this however ?

If IBill is solvent then this shit doesnt make sense! They have enough people working for them, why dont they just make everyone work around the clock to fix it ? Surely it would be better to pay people to stay and help fix the problem rather than suffer the bad publicity that this is causing them.

This issue isnt just confined to the boards anymore, email lists, newsgroups and even irc chat rooms are all alight with people crying foul of IBill.

Obviously the best way to put this to bed is to pay people, if IBill isn't doing that then why ? It doesn't make sense. Obviously the first thing that will jump into peoples thinking is that IBill is going under, if it isnt then it might become a self fulfilling prophecy.

Watch out IBill, the wolves are gnashing their teeth just waiting for the carcus to stop moving.

All I can say guys, is don't ever let this happen again.
Don't rely on *one* processor to do all of your billing. It might cost you more money, but when something like this goes down it *will* be the thing that keeps food on your table.
Consider it insurance payments if you like - just don't put yourself in the same position again.

Hope you guys all get your money out safely and that you don't believe the hype - start emailing your customers and moving them to new billing processors *now*.

Having suffered throught the Lancelot debacle last Summer, I can tell you, when things start to feel odd with your billing company, it's time to make a move. With Lancelot, it was just a lot of little things. In retrospect, it was obvious they were having problems but they kept assuring us that everything was fine. They were very upbeat, right until they stopped processing credit cards are paying their webmasters.
