i have really had it with you ignorants ... there are TWO astronomical FACTS that will defuse all your gabbing ...

#1 - the earths orbit around the sun changes a bit every about 100k years ... right now we are in a HIGHER orbit which SHOULD cause a declination of temperatures - and yet the earth warms up!

#2 - we are currently undergoing a "mounder period" of solar spots which means less activity and SHOULD cause a declination of temperatures - and yet the earth warms up!

so, stop your ignorant rants plz

also, the artic ice shield, formerly covering the equal of the USA in size has shrunk by the states east of mississippi (22 states) and lost 1/3 of its thickness so plz do your homework NOW!

i guess you will wake up when the methane hydrid in alaska combusts and is ignited by a lightning ... it will BLOW your ass outta the water

Whether or not global warming is real, whether or not global warming is man made, the real question is: Will the countermeasures proposed such as carbon credit trading do anything to stop it? or are they just a scheme to make a small group of people very rich at the expense of the rest of us?

People make assumptions on hundreds of years or temperature stats(maybe even around 100 years only), which is a joke compared to the earth's age, which is how much, 4 billion? We don't know shit and can't predict shit on the information we have. But its a great agenda to tax people on more bullshit.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

i did NOT say its manmade! but lets face it; CO2 and methane DO have an effect on the climate, not? so, if we keep going like we do, we DO support the climate change ... and it soon could turn into a spiral we cannot stop anymore ... visit santa barbara channel and witness the methane bubbles there - it HAS begun --- and more methane means mother earth will heat up; causing MORE methane hydrid to melt ... and dont forget, there is an estimated amount of 10000 BILLION TONS of that shit on ground of the oceans! the impact right now may be small, but the more we ignore it, the worse it gets ... god wont help you

First of all you need to keep up with the latest news. Its no longer "global warming" its now "climate change"

Second until these "meteorologists" aka "weather guessers" can predict what the the weather will be like next week then theres no point in listening to them when they tell us what will happen in 50 or 100 yrs.

ehh? you fully miss it there its not about guessing ... 1000s of years old probes of ice give a clue how climate was back then; and the combination of gases SHOW what earth was LIKE back then - if we head for the SAME gas combination we will face the SAME environment ... its not about weather, its about climate - which is a HUGE difference or would you say those - how you call them - weather guessers just say there were ice ages and you say it never happened?! hmm? there is no more guessing at this point ... reread the facts about the arctic ice shield ... 33% lost within 30 years ... it will be 75% by 2050 (assuming the CO2 emissions DONT increase - which they do) ...
