It's a social network for your Company life... It's also a tool to find professionals to hire in your area and contact referrals. Or find contract employees like coders, graphic artists, etc. You can use it find leads for your b2b offers. You could also communicate with other companies/people at your level to ask questions, share ideas, or find out if you're being paid equal to others for the same job.
Really a lot of stuff...

I use it but not for anything adult related. Mostly to keep track of old classmates from college and where everybody are with their careers.
