How much content?

Hi All,

I'm very close to launching my new paysite - I already have content, but I'm wondering, just how much content does a new paysite need in order to successfully compete with the hundreds of other paysites out there? Actually I should be asking, how much content is acceptable for a new paysite to have?

If you want to retain monthly rebills, you need enough to keep them coming back.

I think rotating content may be more effective than continuously adding--that way, what is old can be new again to recent signups, etc.

If content fully exclusive then 20-25k photos and many videos.

You can also get exclusive content for your paysite.

We'll shoot you 100 pictures for $150.

Name of your paysite on the model of your choice's shirt , underwear or whatever.

20,000 images / 100 images a set = 200 sets

200 seems like overkill for a brand new site if you ask me, but I don't know anything about paysites so who knows.....

Hypothetically speaking, if I had 200 sets I'd put 100 up at first (or maybe less). Then do 5 updates a week. So that leaves 5 months to turn profits to cover however many updates per week after that.
