Only 110 degrees here today

It's been a really mild summer here
Redding California gets up into 120 in the shade for a couple weeks every year, but this year, 110 has been the hottest, is there a temperture shift?
Because I know other parts of the country are having record tempertures

I'm not terribly far from you... this morning it was 58 here when I got up. This is the mildest summer I've ever experienced, anywhere. I've run the A/C once all year, for about 2 hours. It's normally not unusual to see 108 - 110 here in July - August. Ain't happening this year.

you're close to the coast and get a nice breeze I'm sure
We're kinda stuck in a valley, I love living here, you could walk out the back door and watch the shooting stars by just turning off the porch light

I read a couple days ago that's it's the mildest summer in SoCal since 1991. It's been really cool here by the beach... and even the Valley is 10-15 degrees cooler than usual.

43 Celsius last week, and 40 Average for 7 weeks now.
Since today a cool wind started blowing, and it has become more acceptable
Watering every day all the tree gardens by hand to make sure they survive this dessert climate.

6 people died in the valley here last months cause of the intense heat and extreme hot sun.

Shit weather here. I'd much rather have some sunshine than overcast and damp.

Here by Sacramento it's going to be all of 97 where I live. Wednesday it will be 92.

Everyone has been complaining about how hot it's been, and I'm like "This has been nice". It rarely gets over 100 here.

That sucks! I thought about doing some yard work this weekend, but I might just keep putting it off for several more weeks to see if we get lucky and have a cold front! Or maybe a hurricane will give me an excuse not to!

94% humidity, probably 100 feels like temp... so humid, temp is secondary.

We rarely get any humidity, but this shit is crazy, I guess it's because the weather has been going through some strange changes

Glad we have a pool
