    Sending large amount through paypal??

    has anyone ever sent a large amount through paypal and what happened?

    I need to paypal someone $10k, just wondering if any of you got your acct locked for sending that much

      Ive done more than 10k in one shot but my account is in very good standing with plently of verified account transactions

          Yeah my account is in good standing too.. but i dont trust paypal.. they are so spotty

              i'd personally just wire any transaction that large.

              but be sure to use masspay so that the person receiving doesnt get hit with any fees.

                                      We did a 5k transcation and a 3k transaction to mine within a couple of days and my account got flagged for 'further verification' aka make sure im not selling stolen goods, figure out waht the money is for ect. I went through the verification, got the account unblocked a day or two later.

                                          Same here, received $4k at once and had to do the same procedure.

                                                  I got a $5k payment through PayPal once and they froze the sending and receiving account. I'm not comfortable with doing such transactions through PayPal anymore. Wire FTW.
