    Yesterday evening I got a phone call

    ...from the ex wife of a retired Captain...a former comrade in arms...and she informed me that she was coming up to visit with me for a few days. She didn't ask me if that was OK with me...just informed me. I was caught off guard and did not want to be rude so I just accepted the information. I really don't understand why she is coming to visit with me...and I am not really comfortable with it.

    I am still in close contact with my former comrade and would not want him to think that something may be going on between his ex wife and I. They have been divorced for something more than a year and as far as I know he is still torn up about the divorce.

    I guess I will just have to play it by ear.

                      In answer to your question...as I stated I was caught off guard and did not want to be rude. I called him a couple of times last night and again this morning but no answer and the last time we talked he was going out of country...so I don't know if he is still out of country.
