Awesome how you get around :thumbsup
One more day of heat and then the rains come tomorrow night. Highs in the 70's Friday and next few days then. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...2=-103.515&e=0 |
A high of 77? I will probably need a jacket. I have become used to 95+ I went up over 11,000' today, and had to put on my chaps, a long sleeved shirt and warm gloves. It was only about 65, which is not that cold, but it is 50 degrees cooler than some places I have been, so I was cold.

Beautiful bike btw. I have never rode that long on a bike but after about 6-7 hours you got to get a bit achey. Altho that one does look comfy. 10-12 hours on the road and on a bike has to take a bit of concentration especially when you get up and do it for 3-4 days straight. 400-500 miles/day is a long f'n way in a car. :) |
Thanks. To be honest, I would much rather ride in 65 than 95. 95 sucks. This thing doesn't have a saline drip attachment or a handy cup holder, so I get really dehydrated in these temps.
I am glad to hear about the rain. Last I looked it was going to be rain and continued heat. So that is great news. I have been spending 8-9 hours on the road each day. But I stopped in Vegas for dinner on the first night and met my brother in Denver today, so it hasn't exactly been non-stop. Tomorrow will be, weather permitting. |
Enjoy your trip!!!
