When I saw the pic of your Emily, I said just about the same thing, except I thought of Emily as a short-haired version of Quinn. Does Emily meow a lot? I've been wondering if that's a tortiseshell thing or just a Quinn thing...she "talks" constantly, it's like she's keeping up a running commentary on her disapproval of the fact that I'm not paying attention to her 24/7, as she believes she deserves.

Funnily enough she's the quietest of the three. She shouldn't be though as she (like the other 2) is of Siamese descent - her Daddy was the local tomcat though we think - and Siamese are known for being especially mouthy.

Is Chewy a black lab? If so, did he get his name for what he did to your furniture?? I have a black lab as well as a rottie and German Shep, and the lab is just a TERROR. Chews up everything in sight. Went into the office one day, and came home to find the dining room chair almost missing a leg! He's about 110 lbs now, and is only a year old. Second in size only to the rottie (140lbs), but the rottie was never a chewer.

Sorta, All the dogs live outside and have 20 acres to run and play on. They are not allowed inside or the cats would be, uhh we wont go there, but he chews everything in site. He pretty much has worn his teethe out. Came home one day and he had a stick stuck in the roof of his mouth sideways between his 2 rows of teethe. Twice he did that. Crazy dog.

I found him when he was a puppy, I think he is part lab and part pitbull or something. He is so mellow and very talkative.

Fletch I've got a feeling I've mentioned this before but YOUR Merlin looks like a long haired version of my ex-cat Merlin. I don't think I've got any pictures of him but he was a chubbier version of his brother Sven (the brown one curled up in my post on page 1). Sadly he died back in April, he had a heart murmur and eventually went into renal failure. We miss him very much. RIP Merlin.

No, i never noticed you mention this before.

Merlin is 3, he was diagnosed with feline leukemia 2 years ago, I was told he wouldnt live this long, but he is as active as my other cat and eats and he is beating it. He plays and meows, he hunts and begs for scraps like the others. =)

In most pics his hair really shows the brown in him, but he is black mostly.

And, he spends a lot of time outside at night when I am up working, so his hair has lengthened and is fluffy and a ball of fur.

What a coincedence.

as you can see they are quality tested, if they dont sleep in it I fix it till they do, this one I had to trim off 2 inches on the walls, they were to deep. There is also a cushy removable polar fleece mattress in the bottom of the bed. Bart loves the feel of it and Basil loves the warmth

Everytime I've bought one of those cat bed things, one of our cats pees in it. I've tossed like 3 of them in the past few years.

it could have been the materials they use in the bed, I have one other bed here that I bought and they wont have anything to do with it. Alot of these factory made beds are made off shore and with materials that still have the smell of the chemicals they use to dye the fabrics with. I have never had them pee in the beds, they like them way to much, however, if im lax on the litterbox cleaning they do let me know by peeing on my bath mat

This is Juji, she thinks she's the shit. Coolest cat ever. 6 years old. Even had a litter of 6 kittens back in 97.

She sat calmly on my lap moving from Los Angeles to New Orleans and back both ways in the uhaul truck. She has stayed with us in many motels throughout texas and is an extremely intelligent and mellow cat.

She was a stray kitten that my Grandmother was feeding and she used to sleep in a tree. So I adopted her, but she's always acted like a starved alley cat.

If I don't spoil her completely and feed her three times a day she gets really pissed off and poops on my bed.

I swear, as long as I have had her she has actually managed to do this probably 5-10 times. Each time when I get too busy or lazy and don't spoil her with expensive cat food. And I usually keep the bedroom shut regardless.

She is fucking wicked. But she's my little shadow.

Oh yeah and the coolest thing about her is she is very tolerant of dogs. I had a dalmatian (insane clown dog) when I got her as a kitten, and the dog was scared to death of her but she totally just ignored the dog. It was funny.

She often rubs up against my dog, and licks his face. Then she usually smacks him. Classic.

Me too. I bought a really cool leopard print cat bed -- I love all kinds of stuff with leopard print, it's like my trademark or something -- and Quinn peed all over the fucking thing. I finally threw it away. Her bed has ended up being a shallow pan-shaped round basket (it originally had my embroidery stuff in it, but Quinn kept sleeping on it) with a wadded up polarfleece pet blanket in the bottom. Salem just sleeps with my daughter, or on her bed if she's not home.
