Need advice to give to a friend, starting a paysite

Im out of it so long, i dont even know what to tell her anymore lol. My first reply was for her to RUN! but she is very interested, and would like to make a website for herself.

While you were away it got 1000x harder for paysites to make money, especially people just starting out. If you wanted to give her good advice tell her to start off as a cam girl for a couple different cam sites, and then tell her to take her time to learn as much as possible and build up a base of regulars.

probably the smartest thing would be to start by getting a following on cam shows. If she can be successful there she can probably then expand to other areas. That way her cost is low and her exposure and risk are low as well.

Tell her to get a decent shooter she likes to work with.

Also needs a good programmer and designer to set up a site. And IMO she has to do live shows. Even with all that the odds are slim. Maybe starting out she could do phone sex. We've a lot of girls buying pictures for different profiles they have on phone sex sites.

Like Will & Shap said, doing cam shows, selling her own clips and custom videos on Clips For Sale and other stores is a great start. Then if she learns more she can start her own pay site simultaneously. If she is attractive and hard-working on a consistent basis it should be easy to make good money. She doesn't even have to be that good looking if she has a personality and can engage with the fans. I know a couple in their forties raking in thousands a week doing couples cam shows.
