Honestly, he actually does make a valid point. Limiting my blogs to a few pictures and one short video increased my conversions over offering every piece of promotional material available to me.

However, on the same token, deactivating affiliate accounts because it is a bit ridiculous.

Got the same email today. Just sent them a sale two or three days ago too. And yes, being robbed of any potential rebills. I gave up on them a couple months ago anyway since they don't actually give affiliates anything to use for promotional purposes. I don't see how hard it is to post maybe even just eight pics from new updates without any nudity so affiliates at least have something to promote without giving anything anyway. It's not rocket science. Give surfers something to peak their interest and show them there's fresh updates going on. They might as well just close their affiliate program.

Well, I am not even really in the business of being an affiliate but I even know that his rule is no more than 4 FHGs and you can only keep up Holiday themed FHGs right around each holiday. So why would you sign up for him as an affiliate if you know that rule AND you know he goes ape shit over it by reading his posts on GFY?

He does have a very exclusive niche and this is how he wants to do it, so stop complaining. There are plenty of other affiliate programs out there and if you still really want his, just follow his rules.

Would you edit photos, or advertise in ways that werent allowed of other affiliates (not sure what they allow or dont for my examples lol) if you knew it was against the rules and would suspend your account just because you think its a better way to get sales? NO you wouldn't... or at least you wouldnt complain if you got suspended after they told you to fix it twice and you didn't....

A lot of people had galleries and promotions up prior to the e-mail announcing the rule a few weeks back. Affiliates don't go back and pull content, they just don't. It's too time consuming and if affiliates needed to pull content every time a sponsor wanted to be a nitpick, nobody would make any money.

Yes, being the sponsor puts you in control and allows you to make the rules. But as a sponsor that wants affiliates, you need to understand and acknowledge that your affiliates have special requests and if you want them to continue promoting you (making you money), you need to hear them out and consider what they have to say. Being a dictator because you "own the content" will get you nowhere. If that's where you want to go, like this program seems to want, then that's your choice. Just don't cry when you are only making a couple grand a month when you should be making over five figures.

Despite the doom and gloom, affiliates are a very powerful tool that is very difficult to duplicate and should not be stomped on. Treat them right and it can make your life remarkably easier, and better.

Hi all, first off, I do thank you for your comments and also the support. It is very difficult making a policy change. Please remember this marketplace is very competitive and we are only altering our policy to maintain the future sales of our sites for ourselves as well as our affiliates.

We did send out a notice 30 days ago, and then a follow up about 10 days ago. Almost all of our affiliates were fine with this concept and support us. Actually, we only had just a few (literally) affiliates that never responded nor trimmed down the FHG volumes in their sites. We had no choice on our end but to temporarily suspend their accounts to motivate the affiliate to please follow our guidelines. It's not fair to the other affiliates who are following the guidelines.

By no means are we looking to cut off those affiliates from their future rebills. We only ask they please just delete some FHG's from their sites. Shouldn't take that long to pull a few thumbs. Or we suggest they can leave the thumbs, and simply place a url redirects in it's place pointing to the main site they are advertising. That way there are no "holes" in their site. This is just a suggestion. Then drop us an email showing the correction and your account will be reinstated as promised. No sales lost, business as normal.

We wish to say thank you for all our affiliates that did trim down on their FHG usage. We reviewed almost all of our affiliates sites and found most of them to be spot on great. Lots of tease photos, text descriptions, and very nice appearances. By using up to 4 FHG's, you'll always have some FHG's to rotate to after a few months or weeks, to keep your pages looking fresh. (as to simply posting 15 FHG's and displaying too much free content, thus, not inducing a sale.)

Of course we are your "bread and butter" sales. You're not going to "get rich" with us, but you will find thru the years a small nice steady little flow of sales that help out in the long run.

On a small other note, we notice that the Apple Twins are advertised 4 to 1 vs. the Jolie twins. Please note that lovers of twin sisters don't see "color." Alpha Sky... I understand where you're coming from and somewhat agree with you on just providing a tease for the surfers and yes perhaps less free content could be a way to go. However there are many flaws with your requests and I'm sure these flaws are because of your lack of experience. I'll try my best to explain a few of them...

1st... Your new rule on 4fhgs is fine, but don't make it retro on webmasters who have already worked to get you out there, to get SE results and especially for those who submit galleries.

Removing content that is already live and has been live for a period of time is not easy, it's also stupid. Why would I want to remove content that has already been spidered and listed on SE's? That hurts my rankings if the content is no longer there and is also less traffic to your site(s)

Only using your holiday content goes back to the same point. Sure, no one is searching for xmas twins in August, but I can say with reasonable confidence that xmas will come back around this year again, and most likely even the next. And wouldn't it be great to already have a jump on those rankings with content that has been in place

For those who submit galleries, they know the game a lot better then you do and I suggest you hit up some TGP/MGP sites and check out the rules. Specifically the ones regarding re-directing of traffic. To save you a few moments, I'll tell you now that most sites will simply just blacklist the submitter and his sites. This is so common of a rule, that the ability to do this is built into pretty much every TGP script available.

You have been given so much FREE solid advice since you first started yet you choose to act like you know better then those who have done this for years. Please read your threads again, ignore the shit talking and pay attention to some of the advice you have been offered. Of course it's your business at the end of the day and you are free to run it as you wish, but I promise it wont hurt to listen and try to integrate some suggestions into your business plan
