That is more than a bit of oversimplification and incorporation in some states is very expensive and complicated due to additional licensing, permits, filings, insurance, bonding and other similar requirements.

The important thing is to set up the corporation in a simple and lawful manner. EVerything else is accomplished through the use of a myriad of corporate resolutions or an ultra-simple method which I include in the bylaws of all corporations which I set up. The rest is up to your accountant or yourself if you use one of the many readily available accounting programs out there.

It is a large myth that it takes a lawyer to set up a corporation. Heaven knows, I am not a lawyer but I have personally set up or been involved in the establishment of several hundred corporations and all of those corporations will hold up just as well as if they had been done by a lawyer or one of the more well-known online incorporation services.

Establishing a corporation is not rocket science but if it's not done properly, the time, energy, effort and money involved to set up the entity are all wasted.

I do them right!

And I'm less expensive!

Again, the important thing is the creation of the legal entity, in this case a corporation and the rest follows.
