if these programs are seriously going under, why aren't they selling off their assets like their paysites, their affiliate program and their traffic networks?

or at the very least, why are their paysites still open and collecting free traffic and signups? I have a feeling we will see a lot of these programs re-opening under new names in 6 months time.

I hope affiliates remember, and continue to support programs that have remained open and continue to pay affiliates every month, even in these tough economic times, like our 3 programs HunkMoney, BritishBucks and Latinobucks!

epitome 07-30-2010 09:11 AM

That's funny, just two days ago they sent me a .txt file to get their videos up on one of my tubes. Thank God I dragged my feet and haven't gotten them up -- they probably just wanted to enjoy the free traffic. They are not getting any.

kada 07-30-2010 09:39 AM

Nutzz... :(

"Due to changes in the marketplace and the global economic downturn, the current affiliate membership model is no longer sustainable."

stop pretending you make any sales.

those days are done. you make jack shit. back to walmart.

Just a wild guess but perhaps the cost of keeping the affiliate side running is way higher than what they make out of it? Why waste resources on affiliates for the few joins they send if you can buy more ads yourself if you cut if off.

Closing the sites is not an option of course, however what they should do is just stop taking new affiliate joins and keep paying for the rebills :2 cents:

they aren't going under. its just more profitable to use these 'hard times' as an excuse to steal from affiliates and since others have done it with no recourse, they know they can get away with it. fucking criminals.

Luscious Media 07-30-2010 09:58 AM

900+ links removed. I'm sure there are more but I'll get to them as well. Adios Eurorev.

This is strange, it's not that simple. Something Radical had to have happened in the last few days.

If they didn't have the time or resources for affiliates, they could of simply stopped updating the program.

That's the second time you've mentioned that and I truly don't get what I say that makes it think I'm dancing on people's graves.

Does it open up more traffic? Sure. Do I have bukkake content, a free signup option, or really niched sites? No, so I haven't really benefited from any programs going out.

Programs have made a lot of money, I feel bad that the WMs aren't getting paid. I think there are other ways around closing up shop completely.

And if I was dancing, which is a horrific site in itself, I wouldn't call people out for spamming their program in these types of threads. If I was, I'd add my link right in there. Not our style.

Sorry you see it that way, definitely not my intention. I'd post the same thing with our without a sig.

This was the first program we actively sent traffic to and I had to pull links last night. EuroRev sent us great traffic just a few months ago, I was really surprised to see them close down. My big beef with any that close is that I don't like how revshare WMs are not paid out, it makes WMs lose confidence in programs that can and will stay open.

If Nasty$ went out of biz, that would open up a lot of traffic to us, it just would. But if Nasty$ closed down, what would the affiliate mentality be? Think they would be jumping to promote us? Probably not for fear of the unknown future. (And just to make it clear - I don't think Nasty$ is going anywhere anytime soon.)

And thank you for the first statement. :)

taking rebills for themselves is criminal plain and simple. they are theives just like all the other recently "shut down" programs.

no it wouldn't you are delusional. you are so out of touch with the affiliate world. tb is so saturated people can't make sales in traffic that used to do 1:500. my ratios are like 1:20000 now. the more programs that go out of business the more stagnant saturated shit the surfers see. your content is everywhere, no one cares anymore. put out some brand new sites in niches unexplored and we'll talk again.

the alchemist 07-30-2010 11:08 AM

I got that email too, 3 days after their rep icq'd me to get some of my traffic...

Hunter_ST 07-30-2010 11:12 AM

That's a cash grab. Our program has been up since 2003 and I'd have absolutely zero reason to ever close it. Brings cash in every week and pays out to our affiliates every week. We keep expenses low and concentrate on keeping business flowing.

I couldn't fathom fucking my affiliates and having the balls to ask them to work for me again when things get better.

Sure, the economy is shitty and I wish I was earning more but do a little more work to improve product and less whining. Damn.

you must be doing something wrong. i am 1:500ish usually with tb.

Ivo 07-30-2010 11:15 AM

If you need a home for your joins, please hit me up to work out a deal. And yes, we do pay :thumbsup

Sorry to see that EuroRevenue is closing its door tho..

you're a topbucks cheerleader you don't count.

tell me that when the web has just a few programs left to send joins to that it won't affect ratios?

the saturation will get worse not better.

:2 cents:

Exactly. Why don't they just switch to rev-share? What's to pay for?

tigermtb 07-30-2010 01:46 PM

Shocked. Was literally reading the Xbiz article on Huda last night.

yeah but thankfully plenty of affiliates that can't adapt will be left in the dust so it all evens out in the end.

bolsex 07-30-2010 02:19 PM

Another closed program....

Sergio Payingsolutions 07-30-2010 02:22 PM

I'm kinda glad I've been concentrating on promoting websites I own, rather than sending my traffic to other places 'hoping' they are trustworthy people.

Sorry to all that have been losing money due to situations like this.

xNetworx 07-30-2010 02:28 PM

Damn. Sad news. They made me a nice amount of money a few years back.

fuzebox 07-30-2010 02:44 PM

I guess this is why Huda never got back to me the last couple of weeks? Glad we didn't move forward with our deal.

Good point. Still, their sites are really saturated. Less programs = less places for the whores to shoot scenes too, so new girls should be easier to find.

ROFL at how quickly his mug disappeared off of the xbiz website. Although its still all over the cover of the digital version. Haha.

Almost as funny as when they named that douchbag from Metro Ben whatever the business man of the year right before he fucked everyone in porn valley over.

That's the real entrepreneur mindset, friend.
Even in the hardest times a real business man has to go ahead and visualize his goals.
It's too easy to say that times are tough and we will be back next year, if economy lets us.
