ROFL! Sorry, I was playing house maker yesterday, but I am here today! I am going to go make my morning coffee and then I will get started on this questions. Hmmmmm, question of the morning: To do them in order or do them randomly?

As I am organized in the mornings, I'll start with:

1.At what age did you realize you were in fact an alcoholic?

This is an interesting question, as I woke up this morning with a hangover and though it was painful, started laughing right away at this question......
I was bred to be an alcoholic I think. When I was a kid, my Dad was obsessed with "The Art of Wine." I'm not talking about ordering wine and enjoying it with dinner. He would pack up my mom, my two brothers and me, and we would spend almost every weekend in Napa. He would systematically set up wine tastings so that he could visit every winery possible in the few hours before little kids get pissy and bored and want to make your life hell. In highschool, my brothers and I would drink wine at dinner with my parents. It was sort of a normal thing for me to drink. I never did the crazy break-into-the-liquor-cabinet thing where you can't drink Peach Schnapps for the rest of your life. My first signature drink was a gin and tonic, and that was when I was 18. From there, I went sober for a little while, as my ex-husband was almost completely straight edge in EVERY way (what was I thinking?!) And then came back on the scene with a vengeance when I started drinking dirty martinis and Scotch. Johnnie Walker Black is my drink, but alas, I'm noticing that it turns me into quite the bitch, so I've slowed down a bit on the scotch, and am focusing on "happy time" drinks. ROFL.
I've trained myself to hold my liquor (this statement made me fall off my chair,) and the only time I truly got ahead of myself was when I was trying to keep up with The Boys on Crown. I will never EVER drink Crown again. But I can shoot Jameson with the best of 'em, and still walk out of the bar.
Um, what age? Shit. I've always known I think. Bottoms up!

2.Why did a few people say to me you've done absolutely nothing in the industry except flirt and party at the shows?

ROFL! Um, those people are still stunned. I've left them baffled. My wit went right over their heads. I'm trying to figure out which people might have said this. Probably the ones who see me at shows! LOL.
I do SOCIALIZE a lot at shows. To me a show is more about getting to know the "Nicks" you meet online. At shows you get to see their facial expressions when they talk, and whether they look you in the eye or not. I do a lot of getting to know people at shows, and less trying to get "Deals Done." It's more like an information vaccuum, you go to the show, you suck in as much information as your brain can handle, then you get back to the office, and you process it all. For me, being new in the industry, it's about people knowing me, knowing WHO I am, and what I'm about. Especially, last year, trying to promo my website, my look and personality WERE my product. My product was brand new, and unknown. I went to shows and showcased my product, pretty simple.

Ella is a class act all the way around. I mean, how many women can look just as hot naked as they do wearing a business suit or a bright orange t-shirt?! Not only that, she knows her stuff - making the transition from solo girl to behind the scenes is something that very few could even begin to think about. Happy to know her!

3.Explain the crazy webmaster drama with your very first web site and what was the outcome?

This is how it all started. I randomly (Well, Sonny was involved in the decision making process, and ALL of the funding process) decided I wanted to get into adult. I had a girlfriend (okay, it was sort of a ploy for me to get into her pants too, SUCCESS I will add!) who was getting back into photography. I hatched up the plan of creating a solo site, and what the basic needs would be. I knew I'd need to shoot a shitload of content before I could even get the site live. So, I had this girl start shooting pics of me. I wasn't brave enough for videos in the beginning, so we kept it pretty clean, nothing too crazy, just nudes, with a little bit of pink. I started telling her about how I needed to figure out how I was going to design a website.
Previously,I had friend look into using a Joomla template. I swear he had never looked at porn before, what he brought back to me was laughable. I was like - this isn't a short-story blog, this is a PORN site. You know, visual? Anyways, he was the first go round for my web design. It was all black page, and little itty bitty thumbnails.
So, my hot photographer chick says she has a friend who does great webdesign. I check out his stuff, and he really did do kick ass looking webdesign. Keep in mind, when I started, I was pulling shit out of my ass. I had no idea what I was doing (okay, truthfully, some days I STILL don't) and was just going for it.
So, I love how his stuff looks, have these great dreams of how wonderful and fantastic my site will look too! I start working with him. Paid him an INSANE amount of Sonny's money (thank god for BlowJobs!) and waited...... and waited...... and waited........ MONTHS I waited. He's feeding me all this programming babble, blah blah, and I don't really know of any other options, so I just hang out and wait and see.
Then BAM! I run into Spannow and Belinda. We have this meeting, during which I was a completely suspicious psycho bitch, as I was sick of being dragged along by this designer dude.
They give me the tips that truly got me started. I fire this asshole and go on my merry way.
Here is what he was doing: He was billing me for his time to build EVERYTHING from scratch. He had NO concept of what he was doing in Adult at all. He was building me a CMS and a galleries, all of it from scratch, which is great, except as a brand new solo site, I did not need all that, nor could I truly afford it. He was trying to use my site to break into the adult scene. He was going on and on about how he wanted to have this portfolio of girls. I was thinking - Dude, you should be PAYING ME to experiment with my shit mothah fuckah.
I took Sonny with me to my last meeting. Sonny and I were BOTH pissed. And though many of you HAVEN'T seen our tempers, um, they are scary. Anyways, I think he peed in his pants a little. He's lucky that's all that happened.
I have to stop this story, if I go into more details, I will get angry all over again. He was a piece of shit. He was one of those sweethearts, truly, I think he has a good heart, but his ego couldn't bear to let him admit he had no idea how to make what I wanted work. Instead of admitting that, he made me pay for him to figure it out. That is totally dishonest in my book.

So, in the end, Spannow took awesome care of me (oh, and that thing I keep telling you about bud, I haven't forgotten!) He made me an awesome site and taught me how to upload and download from a server. ROFL! I didn't know ANYTHING! Poor guy, I would say to him and Belinda: "Okay, uh huh, then what, uh huh, then what, uh huh then what." I wanted to know about EVERYTHING right NOW. He would say: "we'll get to that later, it's okay, you gotta learn this first." If I am anything, it is IMPATIENT. I hated not knowing what I was doing, and there being SO much to learn. They taught me SO much, and though I know I have boatloads of stuff STILL to learn, they gave me my jump start in knowledge. I'll never forget how much they helped me. They are rock solid like that. I had nothing to give them in return, they just helped me out because they are cool like that. Belinda ended up doing tons of my photography throughout the short life of my site, and taught me SO much about THAT part of it. Funny. I was their official Knowledge Leech. Thanks guys!

4.What was the first adult industry event you attended and what are the circumstances that led you there?

To reference the above questions #3, Spannow and Belinda totally gave me the nudge I needed. They talked about industry shows, etc. etc. A whole new, bright-eyed world for this little newbie, and boom, Sonny and I were booked to go to the Phoenix Forum. That was 2009. I don't even remember if I had business cards or not. I must have, I think I did, but they didn't have any info, and I had shut down my site until it could be "repaired" by Spannow. So, I was meeting all these people, trying to promo a site that wasn't even up yet. Sonny and I are party-whores, so the shows agreed with us in the sense that we took it upon ourselves to "work the room" the entire show. We would split up and hand out business cards and meet as many people as possible. I made out with any girl I thought was hot, and learned quickly to GET IN FRONT OF JFK! Ha ha! (Incidentally, if I didn't make out with you at that show, it does not necessarily stand to reason that I don't think you're hot.) Ashley Fires hooked my ass up though, I'll never forget our make out at that pool party. And Sarah Peachez and Wild Natalie were nice and generous with their tongues, so that definitely helped. I don't remember who it was, shit, I'm SORRY! But someone DEMANDED that I sign up for the LightSpeed Dodgeball. Another excellent little promo opportunity - actually a picture of me in that cheerleader uniform landed in the Cybernet Expo booklet a year later. Ha ha! That whole show was a blur, but it really was the BEST show to be my first. Sonny and I met tons of people. We tried to really hang out with so many different groups and learn as much as we could.
I was on whirlwind show attendance last year, and am definitely missing the contact connections this year. I truly think the shows are what you make of them, and we have always worked VERY hard at the shows, and so received very good return. There were mixed reviews about Cybernet Expo both last year AND this year, and both times it was an AWESOME show for me, so it really depends on what you make of it.
