The movie had no quality to it. It was dreary looking - cold - the conflict between the US and Russia was/is antiquated - locations didn't "take you away from it all" - the ending was a cheesy excuse to continue the Salt character in follow-up movies.
It was an attempt at another Borne-Identity-Style series with a female character, but it fell short. In hindsight I could have waited until it was on DVD, or on a movie channel.Last edited by BFT3K; 07-24-2010, 07:25 PM.Comment

Hell I could have told you it was going to be mediocre, and I haven't even seen it. I just can't handle angelina jolie as an actor. Everything she does, all I can see is Angelina Jolie, she never makes me forget that she's Angelina Jolie, even when she's supposed to be some character.
This has been the case in every single movie I have seen her in.

There are very few good movies this summer, so maybe I will have to go see Salt anyway. Inception rocked, best movie I have seen in a while and Kick-Ass wasn't bad either.Comment

I MIGHT watch it when it comes onto HBO or something and I can see it for free. But it'll take me being EXTREMELY bored or something to bring myself to watch a movie with Angelina Jolie.

Spoilers Below:
There is lots of action, but the plot is weak at best.
Cold war scenario which is 20 years out of date, yet, set in present day. Angelina wasn't bad in this part, it it more of a case of having nothing to work with.
Much like the Bourne movies, they have Angelina coloring her hair, wearing colored contacts, etc, like she is going to blend into a crowd. Regardless of the changes, she still looked like the character.Comment
