    Apple 3Q Net Income Up 78%

    Ipads & iPhones are boosting Apple's income but so is the sale of mac computers. Naysayers had said the ipad would hurt mac sales but Mac sales are up 33%. Wall Street had predicted $3.11 earnings per share but Apple delivered $3.51/share.

                  So the moral of the story is...

                  When the slow and steady tortoise crossed the finish line he was given the trophy for an entirely different race than he had been in when he started. When he looked at the inscription he saw that he had won the trophy for becoming exactly what he started off being against. The hare had long since forgot about the race, retired, started a entirely philanthropic foundation, and only thought about the race on his weekly trip to the market to buy fresh apples to feed his worm collection.



                  Don't those guys marching now look like all the apple clones marching in to listen to Steve Jobs disseminate his rhetoric?
