An established amature webcam site, seeking advice and help from affiliates

[This is a cross-post from WM Q&FA, as suggested by someone in that thread]

A short introduction here, my name is Seth -- i operate and am the subject of the longest still running 24/7 live webcam site of it's kind. Online since 1996 all together, and since 1999 under its current "brand" (changed it when i turned 18 to allow for explicit content). During that time i've been profiled and interviewed in a number of magazines, newspapers, and even internationally on french television.

Previously, the site has been a simple hobby of mine and really a back burner project while I went to school and worked my day jobs. During the early years the site would get 30k+ visits per day (10k+ unique) a day with no marketing at all. Currently traffic is closer to 3000 visits a day (1500 unique).

I have never offered an affiliate program as it wasn't really necessary and i worried about becoming a 'product.' However I'm in a situation now as a result of the tougher economic times that allows me to devote much more time to the site. I feel i have a strong base to work from, with over 11 years of content on offer with more added (and to be added) every week. This content is pretty unique in that it's very real -- not staged as real, but these are uninterrupted cams in my house that capture the natural progression of real relationships and interactions between myself and my girlfriends over the years. My girlfriend now is a foxy 21 year old. Over the years, the primary interest has been from gay men -- after all, i was a skinny younger guy and the site was about me with the girls as a backdrop for that. But because of my situation now with a steady girlfriend, there should be an opportunity to tap into the vast straight and bi markets. I feel that this kind of content could leverage quite a following if it got the necessary exposure. And that's the trick, because of the unique nature of my site the nudity turns off mainstream avenues but it's not raunchy enough for hardcore porn. The trick is to get people to find my site when they dont even know they're interested in it yet since it's not something obvious that people will be searching for. I would expect the closest niches' would be girlfriend and voyeur/hidden camera traffic (even though my cams are not hidden).

What i'm looking for is a handful of experienced affiliates i can work with directly to drive traffic the right way, and that can help teach ME the best way to get conversions while keeping the integrity of what the site is.

If you're interested , please reply to this thread or hit me up by email seth at webseth dot com, icq from sig, or yahoo messenger web_seth

    Thank you!

Interesting but I see a problem with It only being you and your GF on the cam all the time.

Stop forwarding to Fleshlight and put your site online again. On this way you can start allover again.

the fleshlight redirect is a fairly narrow geoblock, let me know where you're from so i know theres no glitching. if you're interested in helping, you can let me know on icq and i can set up an exception for your ip and discuss from there

yeah it's a bit of a half ass as she doesnt want to be identifiable in the previews (has been a common request over the years)

For starters, getting setup with ccbill would faciliate new affiliates, a lot of people shy away from the verotel affiliate program. You could still use verotel for your main traffic and just use ccbill for the affiliate traffic, if you wanted.

i understand the support of ccbill, but am curious as to the source of the verotel skepticism -- is this common?

I've used verotel for what must be 8 or 9 years now, ever since paypal originally stopped accepting adult transactions for <3%, and have been very happy with them -- they've never missed a payment, the support is good, and i've been inside their amsterdam offices before and met a number of the people there. That being said, obviously per the above thread i've never used their affiliate software/program.

Are there any specific issues past or present that i should know about?
