Jedi Mind Announces Mind Controlled PC Gaming Software

If you were impressed by the levitating action of the Star Wars Force Trainer game, you'll be stunned by a new software application that allows PC gamers to play games... well, with their minds.

The company behind Jedi Mouse, the software application that allows users to navigate their computers with a wireless headset and their thoughts, announced Master Mind today. It's an application Jedi Mind promises will handle all of the gaming tasks of traditional peripherals.

"Existing PC games such as World of Warcraft and Call of Duty can now be played with the power of your mind, rather than using the traditional computer keyboard and mouse," the company stated. "Master Mind allows the user to control the characters in these games to move forward, back, punch, kick, shoot and any other movement available in the game, simply by thinking the command associated with the desired action."

A wireless headset is required to read your brainwaves like an EEG device and then send an electrical signal to a USB receiver.

Jedi Mind said the software will be available for download from its web site some time this month. No pricing was provided, but Jedi Mouse retails for $99.00. The wireless Epoc Headset from Emotiv is required, which retails for $299.

What if I have intrusive thoughts on a regular basis? I might die a lot.

The next step is a game you don't actually play, the computer thinks for you. It's not even necessary to actually watch it with your eyeballs --you experience it subconsciously while you perform more meaningful tasks, like posting Twitter messages about the texture of your 3rd crap that day.
