That said.... this argument is a total red herring.
At any point in the last 20 years, there have been very few federal obscenity prosecutions taking place at any given time, so when one ends or starts, it always represents a fairly big increase or decrease, in terms of percentage, of the active obscenity cases taking place at that moment.
To my knowledge, there has been a grand total of ONE "new" federal obscenity case involving adult pornography filed since Obama took office; the Goldman case, which AVN has reported on extensively. That case actually started life as a Florida case, in 2008, while Bush was still in office, so I'm not sure you can count it as an Obama DOJ case, even though the current indictment in New Jersey did get filed post-election.
I think the fair and accurate position to take is that the Obama Admin picked up where the Bush Admin left off (quite literally) with respect to obscenity prosecution.

Good article, I agree with the idea that not all the left will leave this industry alone or that being a conservative means you're anti-porn
Too bad about the hopes for improved race relations for having the first black president, I think he's a racist after what happened with the Beer Summit and him attacking the Arizona law saying it will lead to racial profiling when in Virginia they've had that law on the books for 3 years and no such profiling has happened.
In 08 when we had the elections, I voted for McCain, I didn't like the choices I had, Obama to me looked like a polished lawyer politician from Chicago, and there's 3 or 4 things right there that made me not want to trust him. When he got elected, I thought I would give him a chance, here it is 18 months later and well, we're fucked.
If your car is broke down, do you buy it a new hood ornament, or spend your money getting it running again? Instead of focusing on fixing the economy, we got more entitlements, instead of jobs, we got bank reform, instead of getting peace, we got more troops sent to harms way for a war that can never be won. Instead of security at our own border, we got political posturing.
He has kept very few of his promises, he's even going to open up killing whales, I for one love whales, I was a sonar tech on a submarine and when you can listen to their song in person, it's an experience like no other.
And when you can't kept your promises, you can't be trusted with anything.
What presidents did in the past doesn't matter, we voted for change, we didn't get it
