How many of you guys have kids?

My lady and I are expecting our first bambino this coming November and it's got me to thinking about my career choice.

I've been doing pretty well in adult for the past 3 or so years on and off (Working 2ish hours a day) but with a mini me coming along I've been considering switching entirely to mainstream so I don't have to avoid awkward "So, what do you do?" questions from the other parents.

So yeah, how many of you guys (or girls) have kids? and how did your adult businesses change when he/she came along?

I have kids and been in the biz almost their entire lives. You do learn ways of avoiding telling other parents exactly what you do, I think out of all their friends over the past 12 years maybe 4 knew really what I did.

I have a 9 year old son who rocks and he knows I design but only mainstream websites here locally. I have done websites for parents here on the island and plenty of local mainstream businesses. So to everyone I’m just a designer that does awesome work.

Yeah you will learn how to avoid to tell exactly what you do.

Since I have a mainstream business I always say that I'm doing some work related with that!

But I also have some "backup plans" like "I work online", "I build websites", "I do some part time translations".

I started in porn stuff when my kid was 6, now he is 10 and he don't know yet about my porn part-time.
I do all porn work ALWAYS on my laptop, no one touch it!

Anyway, I'm curious about if it is good idea to someday tell him what I do. Anyone did it? How it was?

PS: somehow it's sad, we talk about our job as something ilegal we must hide

I have two sons, 5 and 2. Fortunately they are not yet at the age where they will start asking about my career. I have had plans for years to move most of my interests into another industry for that very reason. Well, that and the adult industry is going to shit. I have 5 kids...yup, I'm a breeder ;-)

They are clueless to what I do as are their friends. I have a couple mainstream sites handy if they want to see what I do, but they know I work in marketing and promotions online.

We have two boys, 13 months apart - ages 5 & 6.

My current job description for those who don't know what I really do is "Sales Director for a Mobile Development company."

i have no kids, nor i m married yet, but when i have kids and as long as adult lasts, i never plan to hide or change it.

i wanna tell my kids as well when they become old enough to talk about those things.

You should proud what You do and stand beside it, then You can teach same attitude to Your children also, just my

Kids, yes, I started when they were very young. The youngest one is now 14 and the oldest is 20. I kept mostly to myself when around other parents and if they asked I said I was a video editor... they asked what that meant and I said wedding stuff, parties etc etc
