    Recently, we introduced our new Real ID feature -www.battle.net/realid/ , a new way to stay connected with your friends on the new Battle.net. Today, we wanted to give you a heads up about our plans for Real ID on our official forums, discuss the design philosophy behind the changes we?re making, and give you a first look at some of the new features we?re adding to the forums to help improve the quality of conversations and make the forums an even more enjoyable place for players to visit.

      don't play it, but it seems stupid.

      Not gonna find links, but i know ive read about (real life) murders relating to online games. Providing real names isn't going to be a good idea when someone gets pissed off at someone for beating them in a game...

          Two days after starting this real ID program tens of thousands of people had their accounts hacked. I don't know if those two things have anything to do with each other, but it seems suspicious to me.

          I theory I like the idea, but I can see how it can be abused.
